Sr UX/UI Web Designer

10+ years experience in data engineering or backend engineering

Should have a product based company experience

2+ years in a technical leadership or team-lead role

Expert-level experience with Kafka for high-throughput streaming systems

Strong hands-on expertise with PySpark for distributed data processing

Advanced experience with AWS Glue for ETL orchestration and metadata management

Proven experience building and upgrading real-time data lakes at scale

Hands-on knowledge of data warehouses such as Redshift or Snowflake

Experience with AWS services including S3, Kinesis, Lambda, and RDS

JOB ROLE:

We are seeking a highly creative, multifaceted UX writer to join our diverse team to create visible and impactful change.

In this role you will help craft the voice and tone of our design system. As our UX writer you’ll focus on content strategy, writing, basic typography and layout.

This is a hands-on writing role and requires an individual who has a passion for distilling complex requirements into elegant solutions.

As a UX writer you will:

• Advocate for Extramarks and help shape product experience by crafting copy that helps users complete the task at hand.
• Set the tone for content and drive cohesive product narrative across multiple platforms and touchpoint.
• Guide the user through the digital experience in an intuitive manner, building a bridge between the user’s needs and the company’s goals.
• Work with multiple stakeholders including product managers, engineers and designers to help establish connective language and a unified voice.

• Knowledge of usability, user-centered design, content strategy and a strong capacity for logical and creative thinking is required.

Preferred Education

• 3-5 years of experience living and breathing UX, and have held positions as a UX or UI Writer.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional execution, from process to outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelors/ Masters in Design, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field.

• Core knowledge of PHP and Laravel frameworks

• Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Check if the CSS, HTML, and JavaScript are accurate and consistent across different apps

• Build and maintain innovative web applications and websites using modern development tools.

• Document and continuously update the development process, project components, and task progress based on Organization requirements

• Solid experience working with PHP, the latest Laravel version.

• Design and maintain databases.

• Optimize performance by performing UI and back-end tests

• Scale, expand and improve our websites and applications, Perform debugging and troubleshooting on apps.

• Effectively communicate with clients and other teams when needed

• Update on current industry trends and emerging technologies and apply them to the development process
