What Will You Be Doing?
- Own and execute manual and automated testing for new features, regression cycles, and integration workflows.
- Design and maintain test cases, test plans, and perform exploratory testing for complex, cross-service integrations.
- Validate API-level and user-facing functionality, ensuring complete coverage for end-to-end business scenarios.
- Document and track defects with clear steps and business impact.
- Work with automation engineers to include relevant manual test cases in automation suites.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Ensure seamless integration of test cases into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in design discussions and proactively advocate for quality at all stages of the SDLC.
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
- 5+ years of experience in Software QA with a strong emphasis on both manual and automated testing.
- Proven expertise in testing integrated systems, especially across platforms like Mulesoft, Tray.io, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Dell Boomi, Salesforce, etc.
- Hands-on automation experience with integration-focused test scripts and tools.
- Solid understanding of API testing, cross-service workflows, and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting/programming language: JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or XRAY.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git) and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in edge-case discovery and impact analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across agile, fast-paced teams.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in tools like Postman, REST Assured for API testing.
- Working knowledge of SQL for backend validations.
- Exposure to agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
