The Design Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and improving product designs by converting concepts and requirements into detailed engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves collaboration with production, quality, and project teams to ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
• Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Analyze design feasibility, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing methods
• Coordinate with production, quality, and vendors to resolve design-related issues
• Modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, or cost
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and related technologies. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: 

1.     Designing, developing, and implementing customizations and extensions to Oracle EBS.

2.     Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS.

3.     Ensuring best practices are followed.

4.     Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in Oracle EBS.

5.     Experience in the preparation of Technical Design documents

6.     Can work independently and progress the build of a CEMLI/RICE object from a technical design document

Technical Skills

1.     Hands on experience on Data Conversion/Migrations, Inbound / Outbound interfaces, Reports, Forms and Customizations.

2.     Experience in Implementation and RICE Customizations of Oracle Applications 11i/R12

3.     Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL and Performance tuning.

4.     Expertise in Oracle Forms (Development and Personalization), BI Publisher Reports, Oracle Workflows.

5.     OAF (Oracle Application Framework) experience will be preferable

6.     Sound knowledge in using Oracle APIs for interfaces to Oracle Financials and AOL/Sys-Admin components.

7.     Good knowledge on functional flows FIN (GL, Fixed Assets, Cash management, AP/AR) and SCM (procurement, Inventory, Order Management).

8.     Solid understanding of Oracle EBS database/table structures and the integration and impacts between modules

9.     Ability to design and document solutions for complex problem

Qualifications: 

1.     Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2.     Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development.

3.     Strong technical skills in Oracle EBS R12 and related technologies such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, OAF, ADF, and XML Publisher.

4.     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5.     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6.     Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
