Sr Java Developer

We are looking for a Java developer responsible for building Java applications. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

Backend (Mandatory/Must to have skills) :

1. Core Java/Java8,
2. Spring boot,
3. Spring Security,
4. Hibernate or any other ORM (Object Relational Mapping) framework.
5. SQL/PL-SQL (Oracle or Mysql or postgresql) but mostly Oracle
6. Restful webservices
7. Git

Backend (Good to have skills) :

1. Knowledge of SOAP based webservices
2. Struts framework
3. Microservices

Backend (Not absolutely necessary but plus point if candidate has knowledge about ) :

1. Docker
2. Apache Kafka/ any other messaging queue tool like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ etc.,)
3. Cloud experience AWS/Azure

Responsibilities:

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization

1. 4 plus years of experience in Java development.

2. Good communication skills are mandatory.

3. Spring boot , microservices , AWS , multithreading , GIT mandatory.

4. Angular or React is mandatory 

5. Joining within 2 weeks 

6. Location : Pune , Working from client location i.e at D.P.Road ( very near to Metro station ). Another location is Indore ( if available)

• Experienced in defining & realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale enterprise systems. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same.
• Strong experience in OOAD and in applying Design patterns
• At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in Java/ JEE technologies like Struts/JSF, Spring, EJB, JMS Experience only on front-end technologies like Struts, JSP, Servlets, HTML will not be sufficient.
• Experience in performance testing and optimization of JEE systems on any of the following application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere and JBoss. Deep expertise in any one of the application server is a
• Strong experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL).
• Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture, Workload modeling
• Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and
• Experience in either of these areas is a definite add-on - Infrastructure sizing, Capacity planning, Performance modeling, Cloud
• Working experience on Linux/Unix based OS system is a
• Working experience on any one of these open source technologies (LAMP stack, Node.js framework, ELK, Cassandra, MongoDB, Couch base NO-SQL databases).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive, design, build and deliver end-to-end solutions using Agile and User Centered Design processes.
• Build a distributed system based on SOLID design principles, concurrency, and distributed data.
• Demonstrate experience  writing enterprise software applications for high frequency and low latency environments.
• Hit the ground running with a typical Java ecosystem (Spring & its sub-projects, dependency injection, maven, hibernate, etc.)

• Be able to pick up new technologies along their whole development stack including non-java ecosystems.  
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design to launch new features.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience and deep understanding in Java 8, including multithreading, data-structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of distributed architecture concepts, Design patterns, SOLID principles, 

SOA, Microservices, Cloud hosting solutions (preferably AWS).

• Good experience in developing REST API and Json, in Java backend applications.
• Hands on experience with SQL, NoSQL concepts.
• Test driven development, including unit test cases using any test framework (JUnit, spring-test, MockMvc), and end-to end testing.
• Excellence in writing and maintaining clear end-user documentation including API specifications, patterns, best practices, and data definitions, including Swagger.
• Good knowledge of GIT.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and build automation tools like Jenkins pipelines for Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Delivery (CD), maven/Gradle
• Experience with Agile software development (e.g., SCRUM or KANBAN) and/ or User Centered design process.
• Experience in working with Angular 6+/ReactJS 16+ & Redux, JSP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Javascript will be a plus.

• Experience with REST APIs
• Work on Design patterns, UML Design (Any UML tool is fine), Application and DB clustering.
• Very good understanding of database (MySQL or Oracle), knowledge in query performance optimization
• Knowledge of development lifecycle, standards, approaches, utilities, and environment
• Exposure to responsive / progressive web development would be an added advantage.

B.Tech/ B.E or M.Tech/M.E (Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication/ Information Science) , MCA from a reputed School and University.
