We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Front End to help scale Reflektive to being the market leader for employee performance management. The main question to be answered: Can you help a

company scale?

Reflektive has major initiatives to tackle in the next year. Initiatives range from internal scaling, security, engagement, new verticals, pervasive technologies, research and development, data and

analytics, and customer tools. Reflektive’s Senior Software Engineer will contribute in their area of specialization. S/he will help us solve complex design challenges and mature our platform to handle

increasing traffic and scale.

You'll join a lean, prolific team where everyone, including you, is active in the product-defining and development process (where deploying new features every 2 weeks is common). You'll know the

customers we're talking to, and the needs of each one. As a result, you know where your initiative and drive can best make a difference (and be recognized!)

Our engineering team consists of developers from a wide array of backgrounds. Our team primarily focuses on Rails and Javascript, but is always ready to use the best tool for the job when it makes

sense. Following Scrum practices, we work closely with the Product Management team to develop features that focus on empowering and developing employees. Our team is a tight knit, friendly

group of engineers that are dedicated to learning from and teaching to each other. Team members regularly contribute to and optimize our engineering practices and processes. Our team wants to

Responsibilities

● Depending on your specialization, projects/initiatives may include: Security, scaling distributed systems, working on our core services related to user management, building out new verticals, guiding new engagement features, scaling traffic/imports/exports,

and managing APIs.

● Work extremely cross-functionally across Engineering and Product Management.

● Deliverable: (30 days) Own a feature; possibly being paired with another engineer. (60days) Own and drive a new initiative. (90 days) Bring that initiative to production.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Expert proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Kafka/Pulsar, SQL, Docker and kubernetes.
• Overall 4+ years of experience as Java full stack developer using any modern frameworks.
• Strong knowledge on Data structure and Algorithm knowledge
• Previous experience working in ReactJS/AngularJS (2+ years)
• Knowledge of Analytics and LookerML would be added plus.
• Exposure to cloud environment AWS.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks including Junit.
• Startup experience is strongly desired.
• You learn quickly, you’re adaptable and versatile.
• Experience in an Agile and Scrum environment.

●       Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of Java & UI stack.

Skills:

• 8+ years of software development experience using traditional software development life cycle methodologies (covering requirements, design, development, testing and Implementation of n-tier architecture)
• Extensive experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices. Strong in following technologies
• OOAD/OOPS/UML, Design Patterns, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Java, J2EE
• UI technologies AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, java script library, Ajax and other UI frameworks
• Exposure to component model design, SOA, open sources framework/tools
• Web Services, JMS, XML, SQL& Oracle
• Must have exposed with Test Driven Development/Re-factoring ideas/ Domain driven design patterns/continuous integration/Build Automation / Data-Mapper framework/Mocks.

Good to Have: Microservices

Competencies:

• Experience in developing platforms or frameworks, components
• Excellent knowledge of the open source software/ tools/ technologies

Requirements

• You have been building production web applications for 5+ years and know the systems from top to bottom
• You know SQL and have significant programming experience on the frontend with React
• You have a BS/MS/Ph.D. in a scientific field or equivalent experience
• You want to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
• Comfortable working with a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating on GitHub, Slack, Zoom, etc. in the open and as a self-starter.

Bonus points

• You have backend experience building microservices
• You’ve contributed to open-source libraries and actively participate in the development community (blogging, meetups, tweeting, etc.)
• You have experience building interactive data visualizations
• You have worked in TypeScript, Java, Go

• 3+ years of extensive experience in developing the Single Page Application with Web responsive design for mobile and web using Angularjs or Nodejs / React JS, HTML 5, CSS 3 and Bootstrap.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.
• Node JS & software engineering experience
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6)
• Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, RDS and Dynamo
• Understanding of non-relational databases such as CouchDB and MongoDB
• Working experience with MySQL

We are looking for seasoned technical leaders from .NET background with experience in building cloud-based web applications and products. The role involves understanding business requirements, customer problems, architecting the appropriate solutions that are secure, scalable, high performing and testable.

Requirements: 

• Passion for building and delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership, while working closely with juniorteam members.
• 6+ years of experience in building web applications using ASP.NET MVC and .NET platform in general.
• Experience of architecting and designing web applications and services
• Experience in building applications on .NET Core, is a great plus
• Should have strong UI development skills using HTML, CSS/JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong experience with Build and Release, Agile processes and Estimation/Planning

• Good to have experience in building workflow engine from scratch.
• Understanding and experience of working with Product Management, Design and DevOps teams.
