JOB REQUIREMENT:

Role Overview: 

We are looking for a skilled Java developer Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, with expertise in Flowable and proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development and extensive experience working with Flowable BPM (Business Process Management) platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions using Java and Flowable, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and workflows using Flowable BPM platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Implement customizations and extensions to the Flowable platform to meet business needs.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and stability.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in Java development and BPM.

• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

• Must Have worked in a product development for minimum of 1 years 
• Must Understand the Product life cycle (Requirement analysis/ design/architecture).
• Must Have hands on Coding Experience in J2EE technologies, Core Java, JavaScript, Web services SOAP, RESTful services
• Good experience on any one application server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache servers etc.).
• Database experience in any one DB like Oracle/ MySQL/MS SQL etc.
• Knowledge / Experience with any one open source development tools and frameworks (Eclipse, ANT, Junit, PMD, SVN etc.)
• Ability to understand UML design diagrams. Ideally should have designed some modules in prior projects using OOAD and UML.
• Extensive experience with multi-tier transactional architecture and design.
• Passionate about test driven, clean code, automatically tested and continuous deployment

Good to have:

• Any prior Work or Knowledge on newer technologies like Big data cloud, Hadoop and spark)
• Any prior Work or Knowledge on NoSQL, ORM, AWS Services (EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, Cloudfront)
• Any prior Work or Knowledge/ MOOC on Machine Learning and AI.
• Experience in performance engineering domain (testing, tuning, profiling) will be a definite add-on.
• Expertise with identity management, authentication and information security best practices
• Expertise in working with complex cross-domain applications.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation of frontend functional workflows and applications for Fintech ecosystem.
• Analyse problem statements and design technical solutions which may involve building client-side API integrations or server side business logic.
• Ensure enterprise level scalability, reliability and security standards for front end workflows and applications.
• Continuously evolve ways of designing for better user experience and lead the implementation of same.

Technical Skills

Frontend

• Hands-on experience on Typescript is a must
• Deep Expertise in Javascript - including manipulating DOM, acquaintance with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Understanding of Javascript Tooling - Build Tools, Lint Tools, Tree Shaking. Must have basic understanding of Babel, Webpack etc.,
• Hands on Experience in breaking complex UI Components into small reusable components
• Hands on Experience in using state management using Redux and understanding of React Context
• Understanding of Patterns in Javascript

Backend

• Strong understanding of SQL.
• Hands-on experience in Node.js Applications.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java would be a value add.
• Extensive background in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.

General

• 8+ years of experience in building web and responsive apps in a customer-facing or B2B SaaS environment
• Interest in engaging with latest technologies and evaluating strategies to keep technology stack up to date
• Experience mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing
• Demonstrable experience architecting scalable and cost-effective technical solutions to solve business goals
• Understanding of Git - Merging, Basing etc.,
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines - one of Github Workflows, Gitlab CI or anything else
• Experience with hosting in any of the cloud hosting providers

Responsibilities

• Guide the team : Help the junior engineers to unblock them and guide them on best design practices. Help in code reviewing on a regular basis.
• Responsible for code delivery : Pushing deploys on a constant basis. When working in a growth stage company, this part can be challenging as the speed of requirements is high. You will need to make sure you are able to push code on a regular basis.
• Design & Architecture : You need to have technical expertise in the company's tech stack and in general the frontend or backend infrastructures.
• Prepare thorough technical documentation which can be used as a reference by other engineers.
• Own your product : You will be responsible for the success / failure of your team and the product. You will need to work with cross functional teams, understand their requirements and make sure that everybody is on the same page.
