Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Service Desk Specialist to join our global DevOps team. As a DevOps Service Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for managing service desk operations, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting automation workflows to ensure operational stability and excellence for enterprise IT projects. You will be providing 24/7 support for critical application environments for industry leaders in the automotive industry. 

Responsibilities:

Incident Management: Monitor and respond to tickets raised by the DevOps team or end-users. 

Support users with prepared troubleshooting Maintain detailed incident logs, track SLAs, and prepare root cause analysis reports.

Change & Problem Management: Support scheduled changes, releases, and maintenance activities. Assist in identifying and tracking recurring issues. 

Documentation & Communication: Maintain process documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on incidents and resolutions. 

On-Call Duty: staffing of a 24/7 on-call service, handling of incidents outside normal office hours, escalation to and coordination with the onsite team, customers and 3rd parties where necessary.

Tool & Platform Support: Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Requirements:

Technical experience in Java Enterprise environment as developer or DevOps specialist.

Familiarity with DevOps principles and ticketing tools like ServiceNow.

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. Easy to work with.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Optional: Experience with our relevant business domain (Automotive industry). Familiarity with IT process frameworks SCRUM, ITIL.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology
• 2+ years of experience as architect, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
• Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytic
• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists and subject matter experts
• Self-motivation with the ability to drive features to delivery
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good logical sense, strong technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• AWS certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC

Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to FIs to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell.

Our IVA is transforming financial institutions’ call centers from a cost to a revenue center.

Our core technology is built 100% in-house with several breakthroughs in Natural Language Understanding. Our parser is built based on zero-shot learning that helps us to launch industry-specific IVA that can achieve over 90% accuracy on Day-1.

Many of them come from ML teams at Apple, Microsoft, and Salesforce in the US along with enterprise architects with over 20+ years of experience building large-scale systems. Our India team consists of people from ISB, IIMs, and many who have been previously part of early-stage startups.

Founders come from Banking and Enterprise Technology backgrounds with previous experience scaling companies from scratch to $50M+ in revenues.

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be in charge of:

• Designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Engaging in cross-functional team discussions on design, deployment, operation, and maintenance,  in a fast-moving, collaborative set up
• Building automation scripts to validate the stability, scalability, and reliability of interface.ai’s products & services as well as enhance interface.ai’s employees’ productivity
• Debugging and optimizing code and automating routine tasks
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues (hardware or software), propose and implement solutions to ensure they occur with reduced frequency
• Perform the periodic on-call duty to handle security, availability, and reliability of interface.ai’s products

The expectation is to set up complete automation of CI/CD pipeline & monitoring and ensure high availability of the pipeline. The automated deployment environment can be on-prem or cloud (virtual instances, containerized and serverless). Complete test automation and ensure Security of Application as well as Infrastructure.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Configure Jenkins with load distribution between master/slave Setting up the CI pipeline with Jenkins and Cloud(AWS or Azure) Code Build Static test (Quality & Security) Setting up Dynamic Test configuration with selenium and other tools Setting up Application and Infrastructure scanning for security. Post-deployment security plan including PEN test. Usage of RASP tool. About You

This is a key role within our DevOps team and will involve working as part of a collaborative agile team in a shared services DevOps organization to support and deliver innovative technology solutions that directly align with the delivery of business value and enhanced customer experience. The primary objective is to provide support to Amazon Web Services hosted environment, ensure continuous availability, working closely with development teams to ensure best value for money, and effective estate management.

• Setup CI/CD Pipeline from scratch along with integration of appropriate quality gates.
• Expertise level knowledge in AWS cloud. Provision and configure infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build and configure Kubernetes-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs, and cluster security. Define autoscaling and cost strategies.
• Automate the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more
• Manage deployments and rollbacks of applications
• Implement monitoring and metrics with Cloud watch, Newrelic
• Troubleshoot and optimize containerized workload deployments for clients
• Automate operational tasks, and assist in the transition to service ownership models.

As DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of the team building the stage for our Software Engineers to  work on, helping to enhance our product performance and reliability. 

Responsibilities: 

• Build & operate infrastructure to support website, backed cluster, ML projects in the  organization. 
• Helping teams become more autonomous and allowing the Operation team to focus on  improving the infrastructure and optimizing processes. 
• Delivering system management tooling to the engineering teams. 
• Working on your own applications which will be used internally. 
• Contributing to open source projects that we are using (or that we may start).

• 1+ Years Of Industry Experience Scale existing back end systems to handle ever increasing  amounts of traffic and new product requirements.
