DevOps Engineer

Candidate must be from a product-based company with experience handling large-scale production traffic.

2. Candidate must have strong Linux expertise with hands-on production troubleshooting and working knowledge of databases and middleware (Mongo, Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka).

3. Candidate must have solid experience with Kubernetes.

4. Candidate should have strong knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Chef / Puppet. Add on- Prometheus & Grafana etc.

5. Candidate must be an individual contributor with strong ownership.

6. Candidate must have hands-on experience with DATABASE MIGRATIONS and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

7. Candidate must have working knowledge of Go/Python and Java.

8. Candidate should have working experience on Cloud platform - AWS

9. Candidate should have Minimum 1.5 years stability per organization, and a clear reason for relocation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, Terraform, and Ansible
• Automate provisioning and orchestration workflows for cloud and hybrid environments
• Manage and optimize deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP for high availability and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot and implement advanced network architectures including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and routing protocols
• Implement and enforce security best practices: IAM, encryption, compliance, and vulnerability management
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve CI/CD workflows and system observability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native systems

• AWS Developer or AWS SysOps Administrator certification is a plus.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification experience is a plus.
• Experience building Blue/Green, Canary or other zero down time deployment strategies, advanced understanding of VPC, EC2 Route53 IAM, Lambda is a plus.

This person MUST have:

• Min of 3-5 prior experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and enhancement specifically Jenkins based pipelines.
• Working experience with engineering tools like git, git work flow, bitbucket, JIRA etc
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with CloudFormation/Terraform
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure
• Hands on experience of Linux administration.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes/Docker orchestration
• Works closely with engineering team for day to day activities
• Manges existing infrastructure/Pipelines/Engineering tools (On Prem or  AWS) for engineering team (Build servers/Jenkin nodes etc.)
• Works with engineering team for new config required for infra like replicating the setups, adding new resources etc.
• Works closely with engineering team for improving existing pipelines for build .
• Troubleshoots problems across infrastructure/services

• Debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as strace, tcpdump, etc
• Good understanding of networking protocol and security concerns (VPN, VPC, IG, NAT, AZ, Subnet)
• Experience with monitoring and data analysis tools such as Prometheus, EFK, etc
