Sr. Business Development Managers

As an intern for the Artificial Intelligence business automation team, you will be focusing on researching and developing AI tools that automate some parts of our business automation. As business automation is important throughout the firm, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Springer. 

We seek a sharp, driven, and experienced Product Manager to lead our investments vertical, focusing primarily on mutual funds. This role requires someone who understands investment products deeply, has a user-first mindset, and can work seamlessly with design, tech, and business teams to build scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

● - Own and evolve the investment products roadmap, with a strong focus on mutual funds.

● Understand advisor/distributor needs and translate them into intuitive product experiences.

● Collaborate closely with Tech, design, and sales to deliver high-impact product features.

● Conduct data-driven analysis to identify trends, performance, and growth opportunities.

● Ensure regulatory compliance and smooth integration with AMCs and backend systems.

● Conceptualise and run campaigns for employees and partners to drive product engagement and sales.

● Drive product adoption and engagement with internal teams and end users.

Requirements:

● 3+ years of product management or relevant experience in the financial services industry.

● Solid knowledge of investment products, especially mutual funds.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-oriented mindset.

● High attention to detail and structured thinking.

● Bonus: experience in sales or working closely with sales/distribution teams.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

● Business-savvy with a passion for improving customer outcomes.

2. Develop standard UI components and style guides
3. Build wireframes and storyboards to conceptualize design
4. Define visual elements, product elements, and overall design
5. Taking design briefs to understand requirements
6. Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders
7. Create and implement interaction models and user interface specifications
8. Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor UI designs, and emerging technologies
9. Conduct, observe and analyze usability testing sessions
10. Conduct user testing of applications, software, and websites
11. Develop consistent, intuitive architectures
12. Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented in the coded version as intended
13. Determine timeline and deliverables
14. Evaluate and set best practices and standards
15. Work with UI managers and team to define user flows and sitemaps
16. Measure the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design
17. Collaborate on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs
18. Work with frontend and backend developers as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Programming Language: Python. 
• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries Experience in Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
• Good Knowledge in any SQL database administration Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
• Experience in developing modular plugins for any open source enterprise business web applications
• Knowledge in integrating third-party applications using any web service is also preferred.
• Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming Strong experience in PostgreSQL. Knowledge in HTML 5, CSS and XML/RML is must.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Knowledge in Python programming and Odoo ERP
• Knowledge in developing applications using Python.
• Knowledge about Web Technologies, Web Services Sound knowledge of coding, server deployment and troubleshooting.

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop well-designed performant and scalable applications and microservices
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code aligning to software development best practices
• Integrate data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Build integrations with 3rd party applications through apis’ to ingest and process data
• Develop state-of-the-art analytics tools to support diverse tasks ranging from ad hoc analysis to production-grade pipelines and workflows for customer applications
• Ensure security and data protection aspects within the applications
• Partner with Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers to improve the performance and reliability of advanced algorithms
• Ensure high performance and availability of distributed systems and applications
• Interact directly with client project team members and operational staff to support live customer deployments and production issues

• 4+ years of experience in developing applications using python and related technologies.
• Familiarity in data ingestion and processing libraries in python.
• Thorough understanding of REST and GRPC technologies.
• Experience in using ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries for data access.
• Experiencing in developing and hosting APIs and integration with external applications.
• Experience in building data models and repositories using relational and NoSql databases.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket and agile methodologies.
• Good to have knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, dynamodb, kinesis and others.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Familiarity with event-driven programming
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Affinity for learning and applying new technologies and solving new problems
• Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience in working with docker is a plus
• Comfortable in working with Unix/Linux environment
