We’re seeking a Senior QA Engineer with a mix of Manual and Automation expertise who is excited to tackle challenges in delivering seamless and robust software solutions. In this role, you will be expected to achieve key milestones such as:

• Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve critical bugs and performance issues, reducing time-to-market..
• Scaling test automation coverage.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Verto’s platform reliability and user experience, leveraging your expertise in test manual test suite, and Selenium + Python based automation to deliver measurable impact.

In this role, you will:

• Design and Implement Automation Frameworks: Build reusable, efficient, and scalable test automation frameworks tailored for web applications using Selenium and Python.
• Automate End-to-End Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test cases, and resolve defects.
• Continuously Enhance Test Coverage: Expand automation test coverage to improve reliability and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Monitor and Report: Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track test execution, defects, and overall quality metrics.
• Maintain and Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate test automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and consistent deployments.
• Ensure Platform Stability: Identify and address bottlenecks, flaky tests, or automation failures to maintain test suite reliability.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Evaluate and implement the latest tools, technologies, and best practices to keep Verto’s testing processes cutting-edge.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining high-quality automation frameworks tailored for scaling.
• Conducting thorough testing of critical features and APIs to identify issues proactively.
• Ensuring automated scripts are maintained and consistently executed in CI pipelines.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify testing bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
• Delivering well-documented, maintainable code and test artifacts for seamless knowledge sharing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Selenium and Python.
• Technical Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues in test automation environments.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and team collaboration skills to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

QA engineer responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

The QA technician role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we would like to meet you.

Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Requirements

• Proven work experience in software development

• knowledge of Selenium/Appium for web and app automation in android and IOS
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience of 3 years to 8 years
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and present test strategies for team review

• Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing as part of release cycles
• Analyze complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system
• Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions
• Participate in release management and post deployment testing

Job Profile Requirement : 

Experience of testing web applications, mobile applications.

• Knowledge of Responsive Testing

• Helps Test Lead to prepare the Test Plan and coordinate with Test Engineers during Testing Phase
• Performs Bug Analysis, understands the client requirement and help Test engineer to prepare the test cases
• Ability to multi-task/handle several projects effectively and deliver within timeline
• Peer Reviews the test cases, understands the Test Plan and write Automation test cases
• Able to write Scripts in languages like Java, Ruby, Python, etc.,
• Able to review the Scripts written, able to run the Maintenance / New Scripts and identify the issues
• Knowledge on automation test reports (TestNG, Allure, JUnit reports etc)
• Define onboarding documents for technology and domain for the teams
• Train/Mentor and evaluate juniors on testing specializations
• Exihitbit strong expertise in one of Load Testing - Jmeter (or similar tools) or Api Testing - Rest client/postman or DB testing
• Perform cross Browser / device compatibility testing using automation

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Preparation of test data and execution of test cases (including functional, system, regression, performance, API and database layer etc.)

Here is what we are looking for:

- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge with Manual testing, Mobile app testing, Web Testing, api testing, DB Queries.

- Knowledge of tools like Postman, SoapUI, Appium/Android Espresso, JMeter, etc.
- Plan and execute Functional, Security, and Performance testing multiple product lines (Mobile & Web).
- Experience with Web service technology like REST, XML/SOAP.
- Good understanding of Build, Deployment, Continuous Integration/Delivery process.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- Excellent written, oral communication skills and collaboration skills.

1. Development and Test Automation experience through Test Driven Development (TDD)
2. Establishing and executing Automated testing strategy for mobile apps with Tools like Perfecto Mobile/Appium or Web Driver/Selenium, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.
3. Sound knowledge in JAVA is must have
4. Experience in Mobile AppDev and Test management tool (JIRA, qTest) and
