Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Testing:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and conduct visual regression testing.
• Identify and interact with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript elements to validate UI components.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance testability and optimize automation strategies.
• Back-End Testing:
• I mplement automated API testing using pytest, unittest, Robot Framework, and Requests library.
• Perform integration testing for backend-frontend interactions, including mocking and stubbing APIs.
• Verify database integrity and test data management across layers.
• Debug issues using network monitoring tools and Python debugging utilities.
• LLM Testing & Performance Evaluation:
• Conduct prompt testing, response validation, and output format verification.
• Automate response evaluation frameworks and statistical analysis of outputs.
• Optimize token usage and measure performance & latency in AI-driven applications.
• Test Management & CI/CD Integration:
• Organize and execute tests between Cypress and Python frameworks.
• Implement parallel test execution and failed test retries.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, using Docker containerization for consistent environments.
• Aggregate test results and generate reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Front-End Testing:
• JavaScript Proficiency – Strong understanding of ES6+ features.
• Framework Expertise – Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Web Technologies – Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and browser debugging tools.
• Version Control – Proficiency in Git for test script management.
• Analytical & Communication Skills – Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate findings effectively.
• Back-End Testing:
• Python Automation – Experience with pytest, unittest, Robot Framework, and Requests library.
• API Testing – Hands-on testing with FastAPI and REST APIs.
• Integration Testing – Experience with mocking, stubbing, and database validation.
• Performance Testing – Understanding of latency optimization and test data handling.
• LLM & AI Testing:
• Prompt Validation – Checking response consistency and output formats.
• Automated AI Testing – Use of response evaluation frameworks and statistical analysis.

• CI/CD & Debugging:

Manual Tester with Airlines Cargo domain experience

•       Experience: 5–12 Years

Skillset and Responsibilities of Agile QA

Skillset:

• Experienced test analyst or consultant with 6-10 years of experience in software testing

• Robust knowledge and prior experience in Airline Cargo domain

• Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe 

• Experience in requirement understanding and user story grooming 

• Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test

• Testing Tools: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect

• Prior experience in backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis

• Working knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc)

• Working experience in defect management process and tools 

• Working knowledge or experience in automation tools (Cypress, Selenium) will be nice to have

 Responsibilities:

 • Define the functional and technical approach to the implementation of the tests

• Help estimate the scope and size of the testing effort for each user story/product backlog within the PI Planning

• Analyze user stories and design/develop Test Models and Test cases

• Review test model and test cases with BA / Product Owner

• Develop backend test suites in readyAPI for user story testing 

• Identify frontend regression test cases and handover to TA team for automation

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for microservices 

• Execute automated backend regression test suites in pipeline for iterations and PROD releases

• Analyze of test results, defect logging and retest

• Work closely with developers to assess and advise on testability

• Test throughout the sprint

• Work collaboratively and productively with the product owner /Business owner and the customer to form acceptance criteria, Help to define definition of done (DoD)

• Present tested feature within iteration reviews and system demos 

• Attend and actively participate in PI Plannings  

• Participate all sprint planning , pre- and post sprint release ceremonies

• Meet with developers and BAs for short hand-off demonstrations and share the iteration demos with the devs 

• Attend sprint retrospectives and ART retrospectives 

• Help in Determining and advising which tests should be automated at which layer

• Help the developers or the TA team in writing automated tests and analyze the results of the automated tests

JD for QA Engineer:

• Must have worked on web based applications like React(Frontend) and Drupal CMS(backend)
• Understand requirements, develop test plan, execute manual test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes and articulate defects clearly.
• Strive for excellence in quality by looking beyond obvious scenarios and stated requirements and by keeping end user needs in mind.
• Deliver a high quality robust product in a fast paced environment.
• Work closely with the Development, Product Management, Design and Content team for release of the feature/product.
• Recreate production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.
• Stay current with the latest technology, tools and methodologies; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to peers.
• Self-starter, takes initiative, identifies and completes tasks, should be goal driven.

Required Skills:

• Graduate or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC
• Strong testing & technical skills with excellent knowledge of designing tests for early defect identification.
• Hands on experience in creation and execution of test cases/test plans.
• Experience of SQL and Database and API Testing.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Performance, and Security Testing techniques.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and hands-on with Unix shell commands.
• Hands on experience with technologies like React, and Drupal CMS

Manual Tester:

Mandatory Skills:

• Around 3-6 years experience in Manual testing complex applications
• Should be able to follow the defined test plan/strategy and perform test execution and report defects/track to closure
• Should be able to grasp the complex business domain fast and be agile in supporting the Product releases
• Experience using at least one defect management tool – JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc.
• Software lifecycle management skills: understand the application development tasks and plan testing

• Lead and manage a team that:
• Reviews and refines software requirements.
• Drafts and executes test plans and test cases.
• Identifies and drafts steps to reproduce defects utilizing our defect tracking system, JIRA.
• Enters and tracks defects to closure.
• Utilizes testing tools to increase the effectiveness of testing.
• Maintains test environments that mimic our production systems.
• Maintains and updates Selenium driven UI automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates ReadyAPI API automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates manual test cases.
• Maintains and updates JMeter performance/load test cases.
• Coach, mentor, and assist the team in performing their duties as needed.
• Provide formal QA approval and reporting for each release.
• Operate within the SAFe Agile methodology.
• Coordinate with other QA teams across the company.
