Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and innovative quality analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing the planning, design and execution of several test plans, test scripts and process plans for different projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and Execute test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans for new components and help root-cause issues working with software development teams.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate in product and feature design with developers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications

• Quality Analyst (Manual) = 2 Openings
• Relevant Experience: Manual min 2 years
• Education: BE / BTec/ MCA / MTec / ME / Msc

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, techniques, and tools.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and being aware of basic coding languages and tech terminologies.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Test Planning and Strategy:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Salesforce applications.

Test Case Design and Execution:

Create detailed and well-organized test cases based on functional and technical requirements.Execute test cases manually and ensure thorough test coverage.Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

Salesforce Testing:

Conduct testing of Salesforce customizations, configurations, and integrations.Validate the functionality and performance of Salesforce applications.

Regression Testing:

Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand the application workflow and user scenarios.Clearly communicate test results and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.

Continuous Improvement:

Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual and automation testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst, preferably in a similar industry.
• Experience with manual testing of Salesforce applications, including customizations and integrations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Platform, Selenium Web driver and Regression Testing.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Certifications (Preferred):Salesforce Certified Administrator or other relevant certifications.

Job Location- Jaipur, Rajasthan

• 3+ years demonstrated experience in the Testing Web & mobile applications.
• 1+ Years of experience in Js based Web application testing. (Like: Angular Js, Vue Js, react js)
• Create and maintain API-based automation test scripts using tools like J meter, SoapUI or Postman
• API Automation using Soap UI/Rest assured / Postman (Mandatory)
• Create and maintain API specific test plans
• Conducting Performance and Load tests on the API's and provide detailed report and analysis on metrics like Breakage point etc.
• Participate in creating and clarifying User Stories, and in planning Sprints.
• Maintaining all the testing artefacts in SharePoint.
• Updating test management tools (JIRA / Bugzilla etc) so that the current status of the project can be known at any time by stakeholders.
• Issue tracking, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
