Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for the e-commerce gift card product, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing when necessary, focusing on critical paths, edge cases, and user experience.
• Bug Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools. Work with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure product quality.
• Performance Testing: Lead efforts to test the scalability and performance of the gift card platform, ensuring it can handle high volumes of transactions and users.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Planning & Strategy

o   Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, including risk assessments and test coverage analysis.

o   Collaborate with the development team to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of features.

o   Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to provide valuable QA input.

Test Execution & Automation

o   Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).

o   Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and usability testing.

o   Analyse test results, identify, and document defects effectively using bug tracking tools.

Quality Assurance

o   Advocate for quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.

o   Proactively identify and mitigate potential quality risks.

o   Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

Collaboration & Communication

o   Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and findings to the development team and other stakeholders.

o   Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

o   Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Data Analysis

o   Analyse test data and generate comprehensive test reports to track progress and identify trends.

o   Utilize data analysis techniques to improve test effectiveness and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

o   2+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in an agile development environment.

o   Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Technical Skills

o   Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, DevOps).

o   Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.

o   Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy).

o   Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

1. You will be owning features through inception, design feedback, implementation, and launch. This will include building test plans for new features and improvising on existing test plans for feature updates and customer feedback.

Before a product is released to the public, it goes through a lot of quality assurance testing: the QA lead organizes and manages that testing. In fact, the QA lead is just as responsible for a successful product launch as the engineers or developers involved in that project. This is a skilled profession that requires previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in the same industry as the company posting the job, along with prior management experience. QA leads typically keep full-time hours, but they may experience periods of overtime closer to product rollouts. We're looking for a QA Engineer to help with manual testing as well as introduce automation to our processes where possible. Candidates will need to be familiar with and able to write scripts, set up automation processes, and familiarise themselves with the products we build (web and mobile apps).

• The role will also require you to document test cases with an understanding of what the product does and how the end-user might approach it.
• Understand functional and non-functional testing requirements of web and mobile applications.
• Document functional testing scenarios and cases, for manual testing of API functionality using Postman and manual testing of User Interface elements (web, mobile, and mobile web)
• Identify or create data for testing
• Execute test cases and record status
• Log defects identified and track them through retesting and closure
• Debug using ADB commands and tools like Charles Proxy to primarily identify the root cause of failures.

Skill:

• Good understanding of mobile and web applications functionality
• Good understanding of how APIs work functionally
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

• 3+ years demonstrated experience in the Testing Web & mobile applications.
• 1+ Years of experience in Js based Web application testing. (Like: Angular Js, Vue Js, react js)
• Create and maintain API-based automation test scripts using tools like J meter, SoapUI or Postman
• API Automation using Soap UI/Rest assured / Postman (Mandatory)
• Create and maintain API specific test plans
• Conducting Performance and Load tests on the API's and provide detailed report and analysis on metrics like Breakage point etc.
• Participate in creating and clarifying User Stories, and in planning Sprints.
• Maintaining all the testing artefacts in SharePoint.
• Updating test management tools (JIRA / Bugzilla etc) so that the current status of the project can be known at any time by stakeholders.
• Issue tracking, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills:

* Should have excellent manual testing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of automated test scripts to reduce the amount of time and effort spent on testing.
