Responsibilities:
Non-Direct Routing (NDR) Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize NDR processes, minimizing transportation costs while maintaining service levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, procurement, customer service) to identify NDR opportunities and -streamline order fulfillment.
- Manage carrier and logistics service provider relationships, negotiating rates, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with routing guidelines.
Reverse Logistics (RVP) Management:
- Oversee the RVP process, encompassing returns, exchanges, and product recalls, to minimize costs and maximize recovery value.
- Partner with customer service, repair, and warehouse teams to streamline RVP processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with reverse logistics partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and efficient processing of returns and exchanges.
Pickup Coordination:
- Coordinate pickups from various locations (suppliers, warehouses, distribution centers) to optimize transportation efficiency and minimize costs.
- Schedule and monitor pickup activities, track shipment status, and resolve any issues or delays to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Communicate pickup schedules and requirements to carriers and internal stakeholders for alignment with logistics plans.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure logistics performance in areas like on-time - pickup/delivery, NDR utilization, and RVP processing time.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements, best practices, and technology solutions to enhance logistics efficiency and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation management, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing logistics process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments.
- Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) a plus
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand their requirements and design scalable, reliable, and efficient machine learning platform solutions.
- Building and maintaining the applications and infrastructure to support end-to-end machine learning workflows, including inference and continual training.
- Developing systems for the definition deployment and operation of the different phases of the machine learning and data life cycles.
- Working within Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage containers, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance of applications.

Requirements:

So, we are building a solution that can handle the complexity of our use case and scale to several trillions of rows. As a "Database Engineer", you will evolve, architect, build and scale the core data warehouse that sits at the heart of Clarisights enabling large scale distributed, interactive analytics on near realtime data.
What you'll do
- Understanding and gaining expertise in existing data warehouse.
- Use the above knowledge to identify gaps in the current system and formulate strategies around what can be done to fill them
- Avail KPIs around the data warehouse.
- Find solutions to evolve and scale the data warehouse. This will involve a lot of technical research, benchmarking and testing of existing and candidate replacement systems.
- Bulid from scratch all or parts of the data warehouse to improve the KPIs.
- Ensure the SLAs and SLOs of data warehouse, which will require assuming ownership and being oncall for the same.
- Gain deep understanding into Linux and understand concepts that drive performance characteristics like IO scheduling, paging, processing scheduling, CPU instruction pipelining etc.
- Adopt/build tooling and tune the systems to extract maximum performance out of the underlying hardware.
- Build wrappers/microservices for improving visibility, control, adoption and ease of use for the data warehouse.
- Build tooling and automation for monitoring, debugging and deployment of the warehouse.
- Contribute to open source database technologies that are used at or are potential candidates for use.
