
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Server Engineer with hands-on experience in Dell and
HPE servers, Linux operating systems, and networking fundamentals. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing server
infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Dell (PowerEdge) and HPE (ProLiant)
servers
Manage and administer Linux-based systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
Monitor system performance, availability, and security
Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network-related issues
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
Configure and manage RAID, storage, and server components
Work with tools like iDRAC (Dell) and iLO (HPE) for server management
Collaborate with networking teams for connectivity, firewall, and routing issues
Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting
steps
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Travel to client/data center locations as required for deployment,
maintenance, and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of hands-on experience in server administration
Strong experience with Dell and/or HPE servers
Good knowledge of Linux system administration
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs,
routing)
Experience with server monitoring tools and logs
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware / KVM) is a plus
Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python) is an advantage
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel based on project requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or B.Tech
(or equivalent)
Certifications like RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or equivalent
Experience with data center operations
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus

Director, IT Support ( Call Center Operations)
The Director, IT Support Operations serves as the subject matter expert for all IT support contact center solutions across Compass. - Leadership & Strategy:
