Senior System Engineer (iOS)

Position Overview As the Lead Software Engineer in our Research & Innovation team, you’ll play a strategic role in establishing and driving the technical vision for industrial AI solutions. Working closely with the Lead AI Engineer, you will form a leadership tandem to define the roadmap for the team, cultivate an innovative culture, and ensure that projects are strategically aligned with the organization’s goals. Your leadership will be crucial in developing, mentoring, and empowering the team as we expand, helping create an environment where innovative ideas can translate seamlessly from research to industry-ready products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the technical strategy for embedding AI into industrial automation products, with a focus on scalability, quality, and industry compliance.

• Lead the development of a collaborative, high-performing engineering team, mentoring junior engineers, automation experts, and researchers. • Establish and oversee processes and standards for agile and DevOps practices, ensuring project alignment with strategic goals.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals, define priorities, and manage timelines, while driving innovative, research-based solutions.

• Act as a key decision-maker on technical issues, architecture, and system design, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability of solutions.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, certifications, and compliance, and advocate for industry best practices within the team.

• Stay updated on software engineering trends and AI applications in embedded systems, incorporating the latest advancements into the team’s strategic planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Extensive experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading technical teams, ideally in manufacturing or embedded systems.

• Strong expertise in Python and C++/Rust, Gitlab toolchains, and system architecture for embedded applications

Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies, with an emphasis on setting and maintaining high standards across a team.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in English.

• Willingness to travel as needed. 

Preferred:

• Background in driving team culture, agile project management, and experience embedding AI in industrial products.

• Familiarity with sociocratic or consent-based management practices.

• Knowledge in embedded programming is an advantage.

Frontend Web Developer Responsibilities

• UI Development: Develop interactive and responsive web applications using React.
• API Integration: Integrate with RESTful APIs to fetch and display data dynamically.
• AI/ML Integration: Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate AI models into the frontend, providing real-time insights and enhancing data-driven features.
• Dashboard Creation: Design and implement dashboards that provide comprehensive overviews of data, powered by AI/ML insights.
• Graph Integration: Utilize libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly or Recharts to create interactive and visually appealing graphs and charts.

• State Management: Implement state management solutions using Redux and Context API.

• User Testing: Conduct user testing and gather feedback to improve UI/UX.

Scrum Master(BA)

· Working with customers and product manager to prioritize and validate requirements.

· Coordinate with the work efforts of 8+ person team for various projects and help team complete tasks successfully and on-time and resolved obstacles encountered by team members.

· Should Coordinate and participate in weekly estimation meetings to provide high-level estimates (Story Points) for backlog items.

· Develop the crucial functional requirement specifications, creating detailed use cases and process flow diagrams to support functional specifications.

· Facilitate Daily Scrum Meetings and Monthly Reviews meetings. Conduct sprint retrospective and followed up on action items for continuous improvement.

· Prepare extensive cost - benefit analysis to support system and process changes

· Meticulously analyze complex data, staffing plans and variances to recommend solutions to improve revenue per call and customer satisfaction/retention

· Should be Responsible for two Agile Scrum teams

· Should be able to guide three development teams through transition from waterfall to Agile development.

· Coach the team members on Agile processes and facilitate  planning meetings and retrospectives. Maintained task board and produced daily burndown charts.

· Remove impediments and protect team members from interruptions and distractions to maximize productivity.

· Work closely with Product Owners, coordinating product backlog grooming and story.

· Generate test plans work instructions and procedures from client requirements and industry standards.

· Interface with stake holders and facilitate communication between client and the IT department.

· Prepare use case documents and utilized JIRA to create UML diagrams including use case, activity and class diagrams to extract business process flows and workflows, thereby assisting development and quality assurance teams in understanding the requirements.

· Work on a team environment to finalize use cases to develop functional and detail design specifications of the application.

· Participate in JAD sessions for requirement, feasibility and risk analysis with various stakeholders, including designers, developers, QA and management to identify critical and high risk areas of the application.

· Collaborate with the QA team in reviewing and validating test plans and test cases, ensuring that the final application catered to the user requirements.

· Develop a user acceptance test plan and test case scenarios to guide a select group of key end-users in testing the user interface and functionality of the application.

· Examine and evaluate testing fixtures and procedures for appropriateness in the specific requirements.

· Conduct 5+ levels of testing including functional, regression, user acceptance, integration and performance to verify the client’s needs are met.

· Should be able to Communicate client’s business requirements by constructing easy-to-understand data and process models.

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a DevOps role.
• Deep understanding of Amazon Web Services or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Proven record of infra automation and programming skills in any of these languages - Python, Ruby, Perl, Javascript.
• Implement DevOps Industry best practices and the application of procedures to achieve a continuously deployable system
• Continuously improve and increase the capabilities of the CI/CD pipeline
• Support engineering teams in the implementation of life-cycle infrastructure solutions and documentation operations in order to meet the engineering departments quality and standards
• Participate in production outages and handle complex issues and works towards resolution

The person holding this position is responsible for leading the solution development and implementing advanced analytical approaches across a variety of industries in the supply chain domain.

At this position you act as an interface between the delivery team and the supply chain team, effectively understanding the client business and supply chain.

Candidates will be expected to lead projects across several areas such as

• Demand forecasting

Qualification and Experience

• 4+ years of analytics experience in supply chain – preferable industries hi-tech, consumer technology, CPG, automobile, retail or e-commerce supply chain.
• Master in Statistics/Economics or MBA or M. Sc./M. Tech with Operations Research/Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain
• Hands-on experience in delivery of projects using statistical modelling

Skills / Knowledge

• Hands on experience in statistical modelling software such as R/ Python and SQL.
• Experience in advanced analytics / Statistical techniques – Regression, Decision tress, Ensemble machine learning algorithms etc. will be considered as an added advantage.
• Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications.
• APICS-CSCP or PMP certification will be added advantage
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management
• Working knowledge on the linear/nonlinear optimization
• Ability to structure problems through a data driven decision-making process.
• Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management and project structuring.
• Ability to identify and draw on leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to develop creative approaches and new insights to business issues through data analysis.
• Ability to liaison effectively with multiple stakeholders and functional disciplines.
• Experience in Optimization tools like Cplex, ILOG, GAMS will be an added advantage.
