We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our Banking project team. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Android Application for our service-oriented project. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, leveraging the latest technologies to deliver cutting-edge service.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality Android applications with a strong emphasis on user experience (UX).
- Utilize architecture patterns and best practices for scalable and maintainable code.
- Implement reactive programming for efficient and responsive applications.
- Integrate third-party SDKs to enhance application functionality.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Lead and contribute to sprint planning, dev analysis and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Improves testability, team documents.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience 5 to 8 years.
- Proven experience as an Android Developer, preferably in a senior or lead role, with a strong focus on service-oriented projects.
- Good working knowledge of Android and Core Java.
- In-depth knowledge of architecture patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
- Experience with reactive programming using RxJava.
- Proficient in utilizing Dependency Injection tools.
- Hands-on experience with integrating third-party SDKs.
- Familiarity with Kotlin programming language.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions.
- Proficiency in UI rendering and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability in team management, including sprint planning and handling deliverables.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with Kotlin programming language.
- Backend understanding to facilitate effective communication with backend developers.
- Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e. g., Flutter) is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Designs and builds the iOS application as per the specifications provided by the Product and Design team.
- Can take ownership and ensure delivery while concreting requirements with different stakeholders.
- Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications. Writes unit tests and do functional and non-functional testing.
- Ships feature in fast moving agile sprints.
- Work on bug fixing and improving the application performance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and across teams and collaborate with team leads, server and infrastructure team members to build the best industry standard software.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with third party vendors to integrate functional components.
Requirements
- Software Developer with at least 5+ years of experience in building apps for the iOS platform.
- Knowledge of Data Structure and Algorithms
- Experience in releasing apps to the App Store.
- Good understanding of Swift and Objective-C.
- Must have developed apps using Swift and Objective C interoperability.
- Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools Instruments
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Expertise in iPhone SDK, Cocoa touch frameworks UIKit, Foundation, Core Data, Core Graphics, Core Animation, Core Location, Push Notification.
- Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work with pixel perfect interfaces.
- Good understanding of iOS application architecture and design patterns.
- Understands OS level APIs and implementation for iOS.
- Good understanding of memory management, network communication, concurrency and multi-threading in iOS.
- Understanding of complete application development, continuous integration & testing and app distribution infrastructure.
- Experience in code versioning tools such as Git.
- Experience working in an agile way.
Good To Have
- Good understanding of WebApps/PWAs.
- Experience building custom mobile frameworks and libraries.
- Preferred to have knowledge on languages like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- Past experience of working with SwiftUI.
- Good understanding of RXSwift or Combine framework.
- gRPC framework and protocol buffer data format.

QuantiFi‘s core hypothesis rests on working with consumer internet companies such as Bounce, Quikr, MakeMyTrip, Swiggy and TrueCaller to leverage their data and distribution – ultimately reducing acquisition costs, operating costs and risk. QuantiFi aims to manufacture and distribute competitive financial products, through innovation on segment coverage, products and delivery – in leading B2B2C partnerships.
Embedded finance is the revolutionising distribution in the financial services space by working in close liaison with brands that have large, engaged customer bases. As of today, embedded offerings predominantly focus on increasing consumers’ propensity to purchase products – the most popular structures being: add-on insurance, ‘buy-now-pay-later’, and consumption loans. These structures make a compelling use-case for mid-to-high ticket sized purchases, and for brands having a well-defined commercial value proposition.
Hypotheses for embedded finance, however, can be extended to practically any business regardless of frequency and size of transaction. Consumers of any platform can be solicited for targeted, competitive financial products by providing a native user-friendly experience. Targeting is performed using data models and algorithms on platform generated user behaviours. QuantiFi aims to achieve such frictionless delivery of financial products that could range from anything between a Personal Loan, Credit Line to a Bank Deposit or Investment advisory.
The founders of QuantiFi have a plethora of experience in the financial services - Corporate as well as the Fintech start-up ecosystem. Aditya started his career as an Investment Banker with Lehman Brothers and later founded Qbera in late 2015. Between the two experiences he founded an international school in Kolkata and grew his family-owned businesses. Qbera was acquired by InCred Financial Services in 2020 and he headed the personal loans and platform business at InCred upto 2021.
Sankalp is an engineer from IIT, Kanpur class of 2003. He has spent a large majority of his career with Banks like HSBC, Citi and Barclays and the last 5 years with start-up’s KredX and MoneyTap. During his stint with corporates, he worked across multiple geographies and on different products like Cards, Loans and Premium Banking. He worked on Invoice discounting products and personal credit line products with the two high growth start-ups. He has extensive experience in Analytics, Underwriting, Collections, Modeling and Forecasting.
