Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect
Designation: Senior Researcher / Chief Researcher
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Research and Develop Innovative Use Cases, Solutions and Architectural Blueprints in support of Hitachi's cross-industry business needs like Energy, Industry, Mobility, Smart Life, and Information Technology.
2. Design, Implement and Demonstrate proof-of-Concept and working proto-types for Hitachi and its clients.
3. Provide R&D support to Hitachi business units and group companies to productize research prototypes.
4. Explore emerging tools, techniques, and technologies, and work with academia for cutting-edge solutions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and eco-system partners for mutual business benefit.
6. Generate eminence via patents, publications, thought leadership, invited speakerships and conspicuous presence in forums of repute.
7. Add value to self through continuous learning and knowledge acquisition.
8. Give back learnings to colleagues and communities.
9. Mentor colleagues for growth and success.
Mandatory Requirements
1. Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree with STEM background (e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering and Management).
2. Solution Architecture: Deep Experience in Design and Development of Enterprise-class information technology systems (e.g., Design Thinking, Use Case Development, Model Driven Development, Agile Methodology, end-to-end System Design and Decomposition).
3. Probabilistic Systems: Clear concept of systems that embed Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
4. Technology Hands-on: Proven track record in at least one of following 3 technology groups
a. Front-end, client-end experience: User Interface Development (JavaScript, AJAX, Angular, React, D3); Human Computer Interface design
b. Server-side Engineering: Object-Oriented Programming, Micro-Services, Springboot, REST APIs, Design Patterns, Data Access Frameworks, proficiency in Java/ C++/Python
c. Data Engineering and Persistence (in any one of the below areas): Design and Development of Relational Databases; Big Data Systems (e.g., Data Lakes, Hadoop, Hive); In-Memory systems (SAP-HANA); Graph databases (e.g., Neo4J, Casandra); Data Ingestion and ETL
5. Cloud: Experience in design and deployment of IT solutions on Cloud (e.g., Dockerization, Containerization)
6. Communication: Ability to articulate key messages concisely and precisely
7. Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
Additional Preference
1. Advanced Qualification: PhD in any Quantitative Discipline
Eminence: Patents, publications, thought leadership, invited speakership and conspicuous presence in refereed platforms or forums of repute.

The role
As Chief Technology & Product Officer, you'll own both the engineering and product functions at Miror. This is a combined role by design: we need one leader who holds the technical architecture and the product vision together, keeps them tightly aligned, and ships. You'll set technical direction, own the product roadmap across our app and digital platform, and build the team that delivers - all while honoring the trust women place in us with sensitive, deeply personal health journeys.

What you'll own
Product
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap in partnership with the CEO
- Translate deep understanding of women's health - menstruation through menopause - into product that earns daily trust
- Own the full product lifecycle across the app, community, teleconsultation/appointments, HRT programs, commerce (shop and supplements), and rewards
- Establish how the team prioritizes, measures, and learns from users
Technology
- Own the technical architecture of the Miror app and digital platform
- Lead engineering execution: quality, velocity, reliability, and security
- Make pragmatic build-vs-buy and platform decisions that keep us lean and fast
- Own data architecture with privacy and protection of sensitive health data as a first principle
Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor the combined product and engineering team
- Set the engineering and product culture for the company
- Be a credible internal and external voice for the platform
Must-haves
- Demonstrated experience in femtech or digital health - you understand women's health, the sensitivity of the data involved, and what it takes to earn and keep user trust in this space
- Track record of owning both product and engineering at a senior level (VP+ or prior CTO/CPO/CTPO)
- Strong software and app development background; comfortable being hands-on architecturally
- Experience handling sensitive health data and the regulatory/privacy landscape around it (India's DPDP Act, plus relevant global standards like HIPAA/GDPR; awareness of telemedicine and digital-health regulatory considerations)
- Ability to lead a lean team and make capital-efficient decisions in a bootstrapped environment
- Proven ability to hire, grow, and retain product and engineering talent
Nice-to-haves
- Experience scaling a consumer health or community-driven product post-PMF without external funding
- Experience with teleconsultation, e-commerce/D2C, or marketplace-style products
