We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued growth and evolution of our mobile app, web app, and corporate website.
Job Overview:
As a Senior Software Developer at WellM, you will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our mobile and web applications. You will be working with modern technologies, including Flutter for mobile and web apps, React for the corporate website, and a robust backend built using Node.js, AWS, and Firebase. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software development and a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile and web applications using Flutter and React.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable backend services using Node.js, AWS, and Firebase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues.
- Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and user experience of applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on quality and scalability.
- Continuously improve codebase through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate into development.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency with Flutter for mobile and web app development.
- Experience in front-end development using React for web applications.
- Solid knowledge of backend development, including Node.js, AWS, and Firebase.
- Strong understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with database management and third-party API integrations.
- Proven experience in deploying mobile apps to both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in a startup environment or contributing to large-scale projects.
- Passion for mental health and wellness technologies.
