JOB TITLE: Associate UIUX Designer

LOCATION: Hyderabad - Hybrid (2 days a week)

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

As our Associate UI/UX Designer, you will be filling the role of a behavioural scientist in a design environment. Your primary mission will be to understand our user and business needs, product requirements and transform that understanding into user-focused and intuitive products, interfaces, and platforms for mobile and web.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Following the full design process, from conducting user and market research to

conceptualizing and designing a product for the company.

• Highly analytical, creative, and consistently demonstrates high-quality design, writing, and presentation skills.
• Confident to justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
• Understanding & implementing research methodologies
• Assisting with the development of product design strategy.
• Determining customer goals and defining the product interactions necessary to achieve them.
• Compiling user, business, and technical requirements to create product information architecture.
• Creating wireframes and prototypes that illustrate key product interactions.
• Working with the core design team to develop layout and visuals.
• Collaborating with the product development team to ensure an efficient customer journey.
• Conducting product testing to identify problems and areas for improvement within the customer experience.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices..

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

• 2-3 years of work experience in UX or interaction design
• Strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.
• Proven well-designed examples of responsive grid-based layouts
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed-upon deadlines, and be accountable for work.
• Proficiency in Information architecture, wireframing, and design thinking, applied knowledge of visual design, typography, color, layout, and information hierarchy.
• Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies.

Job Description:

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience and drive engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

Roles and Responsibility

Utilize design tools and processes to create new product design elements Participate in peer reviews of design work to evaluate design techniques and overall success in meeting the compelling user experience objectives Lead the enhancement the current design system containing our re-usable design elements and components, style guide, WCAG compliance standards, and developer instructions Work with team members of all levels to complete daily tasks, share design and development knowledge, follow-up and escalate issues appropriately, and recommend design and process enhancement Take part in user-centered design methods including user research & synthesis, exploration, story-telling, detailed design, journey mapping and prototyping Design and present findings to the business on 2 to 3 actionable items to enhance the customer experience Create and communicate your design and user experience insights to company leaders Document design notes, element construction, development processes, and other supporting materials Manage project plans, feature design and delivery Work alongside a UX Designer to conduct user research into how users work through data entry forms and obtain user feedback on existing designs that will help inform new design improvements

What you'll be doing :

• You'll be creating the best-in-class mobile designs for users on the Android platform, including visual & motion graphics, flash animation to explain the concepts.

• Asset creations, icon design, for the final deliverable for the release of the phone.

• You'll be continuously keeping an eye on the latest user interactive designs and leveraging those in one's own and the team's work as necessary.

Your Profile :

• Candidate with 4+ years experience.

• B.des, M.des from IIT(IDC) /NID/ Symbiosis/ MIT/ other design colleges.

• Creative and imaginative-, loves to explore.

• Ability to translate a concept into a visual form that explains the concept and able to give justification for each design decision.

• Strong penchant towards all things technology

• Comfortable presenting ideas and designs

• Capable of working within deadlines in a fast-paced environment, often on multiple projects

Looking for a passionate, self-driven creative Sr. UX Designer to join our team and lead experience design efforts across Mobile, Web, Smart TV, and Print media 

Mandatory Skillset:
• Experience in Enterprise Application Experience Design
• Expertise in wireframe and prototype tools
• Extensive experience with mobile-first design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval 

Good to have: • Certification in Human Factors or Interaction Design
