We are seeking a talented UX/UI Craftsperson with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience from end to end. You should be excited about crafting a great user experience and be open-minded with an unquenchable thirst for new approaches and solutions. 

What You’ll Be Doing 💼 

• Designing and prototyping user interfaces for web and mobile applications, considering user needs and business objectives. 
• Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into design solutions. 
• Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to iterate and improve designs. 
• Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively. 
• Optimizing designs for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes. 
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design and development. 
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Must Have: 

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects. 
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. 
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. 
• Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. 
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Slack). 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and handle client interactions. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Role Specification:

This position is a full-time role located in Chennai, India.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, iterate, and manage our iOS mobile application.
• Able to own and deliver a feature independently.
• Partner closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to produce a feature that flows seamlessly and works intuitively.
• Able to understand the requirements and come up with estimates, write high quality, maintainable and unit-testable code.
• Own important pieces of the product that have high visibility both internally and externally.

6-Month Accomplishments

• Get familiar with Poshmark’s ecosystem and tools
• Contributing to Poshmark’s iOS feature development
• Have a good collaboration within the team. Also, with other teams like Product, Design, QA, DevOps
• Should participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and provide valuable inputs to other Team members.

12+ Month Accomplishments

• Drive feature development independently
• Provide ideas/changes to improve ios application code.
• Mentor a fellow developer.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong foundation in the fundamentals of programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile systems.
• 2+ years of relevant SWE experience with experience developing iOS apps (Preferably, apps released into the AppStore)
• Experience in Swift, Objective C, and XCode.
• Experience in using software design patterns. (MVVM)
• Proficiency in Multi-threading and performance & memory optimization
• Experience in writing unit test cases.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in using RESTful APIs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core based Web API, C#, LINQ, Entity framework.

• Strong hands-on experience on writing complex stored procedures, functions, creating views and writing complex database queries with database being SQL Server

• Nice to have: Working experience on Azure components such as Azure functions, App Services, Azure Storage such as blobs/Queues/Table storage etc., Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GIT

Job Description:-

• Manage the overall accounting and bookkeeping for the organization including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets, banking, and payroll functions
  
  
• Work closely with the Director of Finance and Operation to handle revenue for all development initiatives and strategies.
  
  
• Supervised of accounting system and book-keeping of SoftwareSuggest and CallHippo.
  
  
• Ensure that all applicable tax laws are in proper compliance i.e. Service tax, TDS, GST, PTAX, etc.
  
  
• Ensure that system and information are compatible to produce consolidated reports and accounts.
  
  
• Provide administrative assistance, including oversight of facility vendors and contracts, and establishing and managing vendor accounts and relationships.
  
  
• Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis of financial statements, including a statement of activities, fund balance, and sources/uses of funds, to the CFO and, as requested, to the Board of Directors.
  
  
• Ensure that SoftwareSuggets is reconciled on weekly basis - reconciling to bank statements, trade creditors and debtors, dealing with posting errors, etc...
  
  
• Produce a weekly summary of accounts including cash flow and trade creditors.
  
  
• Produce monthly reports of the Balance sheet, Bank Statement, Cash and Fund flow statement, etc...
  
  
• Provide advice on financial matters to the management team.

Responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibility as a senior backend engineer will be to architect and develop a scalable and robust micro-services backend with strong Java, Spring(Boot), SQL, AWS/GCP.
• Experience being part of a software development team in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment
• Be a key performer in a high-performance product engineering team

Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of overall IT experience. Most of this experience in Java (Core Java, Spring boot, Java collections, Java Multithreading)
• Should have experience designing database schemas - SQL and NoSQL.
• Exposure to frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Play would be a plus
• Experience with microservices architecture would be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of any public cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics, NoSQL data stores, data modeling and data management, analytical tools, languages, or libraries
• Knowledge of container tech like Docker, Kubernetes would be a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
