The company is building the operational backbone for how B2B enterprises run their business.

As a Tech Lead on the backend team, you will own the technical direction for a core domain of the platform—systems where correctness is non-negotiable, scale is unforgiving, and edge cases never stop coming. You will also mentor Senior Engineers in your pod.

This is a hands-on role: you will write code and design systems yourself day to day, pair on complex problems, review the work of engineers around you, and be the person who figures out what's actually broken before it becomes a fire.

You will report into the Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering. This is not a feature-factory role. You are here to raise the level of abstraction the team works at, not simply to ship tickets faster.

What You'll Own

• Design and build core platform services that handle complex business logic reliably at scale.
• Architect and own integrations with external enterprise systems, including their quirks, rate limits, and failure modes.
• Build APIs that enterprise engineering teams actually want to integrate with, not just ones that technically work.
• Own production debugging end to end: diagnose issues across services using logs, traces, and metrics, and make incidents boring rather than fires.
• Embed security and compliance thinking into your systems by default, not as a retrofit.
• Mentor Senior Backend Engineers in your pod: pair on hard problems, review their work, and help them grow as engineers.
• Set the architectural direction for your domain: choose frameworks, patterns, and abstractions that shape the platform for years.
• Lead design reviews and code reviews, and set the technical standard the rest of the team calibrates against.
• Hold a clear bar for quality, follow-through, and ownership across the engineers you work with, ensuring systems are healthy in production, not just merged.
• Partner with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success as the engineer who understands the system deeply enough to challenge requirements when necessary.
• Raise the technical bar for the engineers around you without slowing the team down.

Ideal Candidate

1. Strong Tech Lead / Staff Engineer / Lead Engineer Profile

• Proven experience operating at Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Lead Engineer level.

1. Mandatory – Overall Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of overall Software Engineering / Development experience building production backend systems.

1. Mandatory – Tech Lead Ownership

• Proven Tech Lead ownership with experience setting technical direction, architecture, frameworks, or engineering standards used by other engineers.

• Strong hands-on backend development experience with deep proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, or Golang.

• Strong experience in system design and distributed systems, including architectural trade-offs, scalability, failure modes, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CRM & Customer Retention

·         Manage and segment customer data across Shopify, marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, Tata CLiQ Luxury), and CRM platforms.

·         Execute email and WhatsApp campaigns — automation, A/B testing, personalization, and performance tracking.

·         Develop and manage loyalty, referral, and win-back programs to improve customer lifetime value (LTV).

·         Integrate and optimize AI Chatbots for personalized engagement and lead nurturing.

2. Performance Marketing (Meta, Google, YouTube)

·         Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and YouTube.

·         Collaborate with internal and external teams for audience segmentation, creative testing, UTM setup, and reporting.

·         Monitor and analyze KPIs including ROAS, CTR, CAC, and conversion rate, making data-backed optimization recommendations.

·         Test audience clusters for premium segmentation.

·         Align ad campaigns with CRM strategies to ensure consistent communication across channels.

3. Analytics & Reporting

·         Create integrated dashboards covering CRM and paid media performance.

·         Track key engagement metrics such as open rate, CTR, repeat purchase rate, and campaign ROI.

·         Provide insights to enhance customer journey mapping, funnel efficiency, and conversion pathways.

·         Present monthly performance summaries and improvement recommendations.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

·         Work with marketing, operations, and tech teams to synchronize CRM, automation, and digital marketing efforts.

·         Coordinate with agencies or vendors for campaign execution, data sync, and CRM tool integration.

·         Ensure brand consistency and premium positioning across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

·         3–5 years of experience in CRM and/or Performance Marketing for premium or lifestyle brands.

·         Proficiency in CRM and automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Brevo, Mailchimp, Zoho, Klaviyo).

·         Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and YouTube Campaign Manager.

·         Strong analytical mindset; ability to interpret campaign data and make optimization decisions.

·         Experience with Shopify, marketplaces (Amazon, Myntra, Tata CLiQ Luxury), and email workflows and automations.

Oracle Endeca Production Support Engineer / Oracle Endeca Administrator

This is a production support-focused role responsible for maintaining and supporting a large-scale Oracle Endeca search platform across multiple eCommerce websites. Key responsibilities include: 

• Manage and support a multi-site Oracle Endeca on-premise environment with dedicated Endeca applications and MDEX engines for each website. 

• Administer, monitor, and optimize Endeca MDEX engines, DGraphs, Forge pipelines, and search/navigation configurations. 

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Endeca Forge-based data ingestion pipelines and custom ETL processes sourcing data from flat files. 

• Support and enhance Endeca Assembler API integrations consumed by Classic ASP storefront applications. 

• Analyze and resolve search relevance, navigation, faceting, and product discovery issues across multiple websites. 

• Monitor and tune Endeca query performance, index performance, and system resource utilization to ensure optimal customer experience.

Production Engineer manages shifts, production supervisors and all operators &

ensures smooth running of the production process, organising & monitoring work-

flow.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel;

revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the shift
