Desired roles & responsibilities:
- Expertise in DNS, VMware Workstation, multiple OS installation & RAID configurations.
- Excellent understanding of Networking & Firewalling concepts.
- Well versed with various IT Infrastructure technologies/ concepts such as LAN & WAN protocols, VPN Technologies (IPSEC, SSL), Leased Line Connectivity, DNS, DHCP, ISP Setup, TCP/ IP, IP architecture, Network Management System (NMS), VLANs, Structured Cabling Design, Anti-Virus Server (Mail Scanning/ Gateway Scanning/ Server/ Clients Scanning) Setup and Wire Less LAN concepts.
- Expertise in Active Directory Configuration and Group Policy Management. FSMO Roles, DNS Zones, Replications, etc.
- Experienced in Single sign-on configurations using Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Azure AD.
- Good understating of PKI infrastructure and experience in Active Directory Certificate Services administration.
- Administration knowledge on Anti-Virus Management
- Firmware up-gradation and tuning, hardening the servers.
- Manage local hardware inventories.
- Assist network architects with the design of network models whenever needed.
- Good hands-on experience on Sophos/CyberRom/SonicWALL/FortiGate/FortiNet Firewall and configuration. well versed with NAT Rules in Firewall and Direct the installation of both the software and hardware components of firewalls along with other portions of security infrastructure. They also configure firewalls for usage, manage their day-to-day operations, and perform regular maintenance through upgrades and patches.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Expertise in Firewall design, building, and managing the security infrastructure of information technology (IT) systems. They are expected to be proficient in all aspects of ITIL (i.e. Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Request Management, Problem Management, Disaster Response, etc.).
- Windows Server environment administration and support.
IT Administrator Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
