Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished and charismatic Technical Lead to drive thedesign, development, and delivery of high-volume, scalable, and secure enterpriseapplications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Java ecosystem, particularly with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture, coupled with significant

experience in Cloud Solutions (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices. This role requiresa proven leader capable of setting "big picture" strategy while mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Design

• Lead the architecture and design of complex, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE and the Spring Boot Framework.
• Design and implement Microservices Architecture and RESTful/SOAP APIs.
• Spearhead Cloud Solution Architecture, including the design and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure deployment with auto-scaling, fault-tolerant, and reliability capabilities (AWS/Azure).
• Guide teams on applying Architecture Concepts, Architectural Styles, and Design Patterns (e.g., UML, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design).
• Solution Architect complex migrations of enterprise applications to Cloud.
• Conduct Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) for new technologies like Blockchain (Hyper Ledger) for solutions such as Identity Management.

Technical Leadership & Development

• Lead the entire software development process from conception to completion within an Agile/Waterfall and Cleanroom Engineering environment.
• Define and enforce best practices and coding standards for Java development, ensuring code quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Implement and manage CI/CD Pipelines &; DevOps Practices to automate software delivery.
• Oversee cloud migration and transformation programs for enterprise applications, focusing on reducing infrastructure costs and improving scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Java/Spring Boot stack, databases (SQL Server, Oracle, My-SQL, Postgres SQL, Elastic Search, Redis), and cloud components.
• Ensure the adoption of Test Driven Development (TDD), Unit Testing, and Mock Test-Driven Development practices.

People & Delivery Management

• Act as a Charismatic people leader and Transformative Force, building and mentoring high-performing teams from the ground up.
• Drive Delivery Management, collaborating with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and managing large-scale programs from initiation to delivery.
• Utilize Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills to articulate technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Champion organizational change, driving adoption of new processes, ways of working, and technology platforms.

Required Technical Skills

• Languages: Java (JDK1.5+), Spring Core Framework, Spring Batch, Java Server Pages (JSP), Servlets, Apache Struts, JSON, Hibernate.
• Cloud: Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Solution Architect certification preferred) and familiarity with Azure.
• DevOps/Containerization: CI/CD Pipelines, Docker.
• Databases: Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server, Oracle, My-SQL, Postgres SQL, and NoSQL/Caching (Elastic Search, Redis).

Education and Certifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Certified Amazon Web Services Solution Architect (or equivalent).
• Experience or certification in leadership is a plus.

Requirements

• Senior SD4 engineer/Principal Engineer/ Architect who has led or been part of platform teams inside a large/mid tech company
• Deep expertise working with any of the programming languages to write maintainable, scalable, unit-tested code.Python experience is a bonus - but not required
• Good understanding of REST APIs and the web in general and ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion
• Experience with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Load Balancing
• Experience in building a platform team on AWS for Product based companies/start-ups

What You’ll Do

• Build the core technology platform, including Automated provisioning of infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring of services
• Build a central services directory within an organization that shows the cost and health of all services and makes the management of microservices extremely easy
• This involves working with core infrastructure and understanding them in great detail - like Kubernetes, ServiceMesh, Service security

Adapting and enhancing machine learning techniques based on physical intuition about the domain Design sampling methodology, prepare data, including data cleaning, univariate analysis, missing value imputation, , identify appropriate analytic and statistical methodology, develop predictive models and document process and results Lead projects both as a principal investigator and project manager, responsible for meeting project requirements on schedule and on budget Coordinate and lead efforts to innovate by deriving insights from heterogeneous sets of data generated by our suite of Aerospace products Support and mentor data scientists Maintain and work with our data pipeline that transfers and processes several terabytes of data using Spark, Scala, Python, Apache Kafka, Pig/Hive & Impala Work directly with application teams/partners (internal clients such as Xbox, Skype, Office) to understand their offerings/domain and help them become successful with data so they can run controlled experiments (a/b testing) Understand the data generated by experiments, and producing actionable, trustworthy conclusions from them Apply data analysis, data mining and data processing to present data clearly and develop experiments (ab testing) Work with development team to build tools for data logging and repeatable data tasks tol accelerate and automate data scientist duties

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field. PhD preferred 8 to 10 years of experience in data mining, data modeling, and reporting 5+ years of experience working with large data sets or do large scale quantitative analysis Expert SQL scripting required Development experience in one of the following: Scala, Java, Python, Perl, PHP, C++ or C# Experience working with Hadoop, Pig/Hive, Spark, MapReduce Ability to drive projects Basic understanding of statistics – hypothesis testing, p-values, confidence intervals, regression, classification, and optimization are core lingo Analysis - Should be able to perform Exploratory Data Analysis and get actionable insights from the data, with impressive visualization. Modeling - Should be familiar with ML concepts and algorithms; understanding of the internals and pros/cons of models is required. Data Engineering : Senior Engineer / Manager

As Senior Engineer/ Manager in Data Engineering, you will translate client requirements into technical design, and implement components for a data engineering solutions. Utilize a deep understanding of data integration and big data design principles in creating custom solutions or implementing package solutions. You will independently drive design discussions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution.

Must Have skills :

1. GCP

2. Spark streaming : Live data streaming experience is desired.

3. Any 1 coding language: Java/Pyhton /Scala

Skills & Experience :

- Overall experience of MINIMUM 5+ years with Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Big Data technologies

- Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack - HDFS, sqoop, kafka, Pulsar, NiFi, Spark, Spark Streaming, Flink, Storm, hive, oozie, airflow and other components required in building end to end data pipeline. Working knowledge on real-time data pipelines is added advantage.

- Strong experience in at least of the programming language Java, Scala, Python. Java preferable

- Hands-on working knowledge of NoSQL and MPP data platforms like Hbase, MongoDb, Cassandra, AWS Redshift, Azure SQLDW, GCP BigQuery etc.

- Well-versed and working knowledge with data platform related services on GCP

- Bachelor's degree and year of work experience of 6 to 12 years or any combination of education, training and/or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
