Full Stack Developer Job Description:

1. Knowledge in MERN Stack is mandatory

2. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

3. Design client-side and server-side architecture

4. Conduct Testing & Debugging, utilize script tools & write basic codes for design specifications

5. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

6. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

7. Write effective APIs

8. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

9. Create security and data protection settings

10. Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

11. Write technical documentation

12. Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Good understanding of REACT application, Native Android, System architecture, and workflows
• Experience with function and class components, hooks and material UI, CSS, styled-components preferred
• Understanding of RESTful APIS, HTML/CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), GIT, popular frontend development tools, CI/CD tools, DevOps
• Understanding in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, DataStructures, Algorithms, JSX
• Must have knowledge in Script frameworks ReactJS, Redux, jQuery and Android Language: Typescript/ JavaScript/ JAVA / XML
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Good problem-solving, Open-minded team player, troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Work on an intranet portal for excellent employee user experience and productivity using Java full stack tools (React/Angular + Java (Spring boot)
2. Support Web App built for employee IT Applications provisioning process.
3. Take static design components and develop solutions to elevate work into engaging digital experiences.
4. Collaborate with the team to build backend code and integrations as needed.
5. Develop user interfaces that are standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible, and performance-optimized.
6. Create and maintain a repository of common and reusable code.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for code.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Hands on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or Angular with willingness to explore React)
2. 6+ years of experience in Java full stack web app development
3. Familiarity with developing custom components as well as using component libraries such as MUI/Bootstrap/Ant Design
4. Comfortable navigating inside a UNIX/Linux environment
5. Ability to write REST APIs and consume with AJAX calls
6. Experience with Java/ Core Java

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and code features in the front-end and back-end as per the specifications provided by the Product and Design teams.
• Ship features in fast moving agile sprints.
• Work closely with Product Design and Product Management teams to brainstorm and chalk out details of features.
• Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion.
• Strong skills in architecting database models.
• Ability to document your code as this will be an open-core project.
• Ability to write unit, integration, and end to end tests.
• Conduct peer code review.

Must have:

• Strong understanding of Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, callback, and closures.
• Experience developing applications that use queues like SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with AWS services like S3, EC2, etc.
• Experience with Docker.
• Strong experience with ReactJS: hooks, functional programming, and optimizing render functions.
• Good knowledge of CSS.
• Experience with creating cross-browser compatible web apps.
• Should be strong in Postgres database.
• Test driven development and use of frameworks like Mocha, Cypress.
• Strong proficiency in English and writing skills.

Good to have

• Basic knowledge of CI, CD
• Intermediate knowledge in any cloud services (AWS, GCP)
• Have created GraphQL APIs or worked with the Apollo framework.
• Have built previous functionality for CRM, marketing, or customer support tools.
• Have worked in open source project previously.
