Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Magento development, particularly in backend customizations, plugin integrations, and API integrations. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, customized Magento solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Magento Backend Customization: Design and implement custom features, modules, and extensions based on project needs.
• Plugin Integration & Customization: Integrate and customize third-party plugins to meet specific client requirements.
• REST API Development: Develop, customize, and maintain RESTful APIs for various integrations.
• 3rd Party Integrations: Implement seamless integrations with third-party platforms such as ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and other systems.
• Frontend Development: Work on Magento’s frontend including theme development, design adjustments, and user interface enhancements.
• Theme Customization: Customize Magento themes to deliver high-quality, responsive web designs.
• Checkout Customizations: Develop and customize Magento checkout workflows to improve user experience and cater to specific client needs.
• WordPress Installation & Configuration: Set up, configure, and maintain WordPress installations as per project requirements.
• WordPress Customization: Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations to suit client specifications.
• 3rd Party Integrations on WordPress: Implement third-party services such as payment gateways, CRMs, and other integrations within WordPress.
• Client Communication: Engage directly with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Magento development, including both Magento 1 and Magento 2 platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Proven experience with backend customizations and plugin integrations.
• Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience in 3rd party integrations (ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, etc.).
• Competency in frontend development and theme customizations.
• Solid understanding of Magento checkout process and its customizations.
• WordPress installation, configuration, and customization expertise.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate initiative as a self-starter.
• Must be prompt, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality solutions on time.

Bonus Skills:

• Magento certification(s).
• Experience with Magento Commerce/Cloud editions.

What We're Looking For :

• Must have experience on front end development using javascript, ReactJS

• Architect and co-create, a highly scalable, available, resilient & distributed applications and multi-tenant Platforms
• Highly hands on with coding/designing, troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring, leading and developing a large scale multi-tenant software components on the Platform in Agile based methodology to provide self-service capabilities (MUST HAVE)
• Must have knowledge of Data structures, must have ability to solve data structure programs on platforms like hakerrank, leetcode  (MUST HAVE)
• Proficiency in engineering practices and writing high quality code, with expertise in Java/J2EE.

• Exposure to NOSQL DB and Relational database

• Exposure to RabbitMQ ,Kafka and Redis Cache

• Working in a team environment, contribute significantly to application solution design and to the high-level design of application software.
• Detailed design, code and test of Cloud Platform software. Provide automated test software in conjunction with application software.

• Design and create a variety of terrains for real world environments.

• Work with the game design team to ensure that levels meet the vision and objectives of real-world scenarios.

• Collaborate with other members of the development team, including artists, programmers, and QA testers.

• Use Unity, Blender/Maya, Substance 3D software’s to create and modify 3D environments.

• Use scripting languages to implement gameplay features.

• Stay up to date on the latest trends in level design.

- Ensure the smooth functioning of facilities, services, and amenities provided to members.

- Handle member inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.

- Collaborate with the community team to create a positive and productive workspace environment.

- Oversee facility maintenance and coordinate with vendors.

- Assist in budget management and cost control.

- Implement operational policies and procedures.

- Maintain high levels of member satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.

- Support and contribute to community-building efforts within the WORKIE space.

Responsibilities

Develop high quality, secure, stable code for use in products and solutions for

customers, making it easier for other developers to maintain, enhance, reuse,

and localize

Work with Product Owner and/or Product Manager/Team to understand and help

refine functional requirements for new products

Develop and outline architecture and relationships between subsystems and

participates in review of those designs

Investigate and, if necessary, prototype technologies and algorithms relating to

the task

Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear

solution for each piece

Ensure new code, feature or software product meets performance goals/metrics

Research external best practices and emerging technologies for possible

incorporation into company products and methodologies

Write and maintain the code following Test-Driven-Design principles

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline from reputed engineering

college

5 to 7 years of strong programming skills in Web and Cloud Technologies

Should have a very strong foundation in JavaScript, and must have a clear

understanding of basic web fundamentals such as prototype based inheritance,

scopes, Event Loop, Memory Management in JS, etc

Should be good at developing modular front-end applications and is expected to

have the knowledge to create good abstractions that can be reused . Should also

have in-depth understanding of latest ES6 standards such as spread operators,

arrow functions, etc

Should have strong programming skills in Web and Cloud Technologies

Should be strong in OOAD Concepts

Should have a strong hands-on in React, Typescript

Should have Hands-on experience in any of the backend language.

Should understand latest paradigms in Front End Development such as Pub-Sub

Pattern, Redux, RxJS, Service Workers, Client Caching, Lazy Loading, Dynamic

Injection, Bundle Optimisation, etc

Should have very good hands-on knowledge of CSS3 & HTML5

Should have good knowledge of Postman API Platform

Should have experience with Amazon web services – ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, etc

Should have Hands-on experience of developing RESTful web services and

integrating the same with heterogeneous clients

Should have Hands-on experience with Relational or NoSQL Database’s

Should have a very clear understanding of TDD is expected and should have

good exposure to writing UT's and designing UI components with testability in

mind

Should have Strong Communication and Analytical skills

Flexibility under changing conditions and the ability to multi-task between

projects
