Responsibilities

5. Developing unit tests along with features and integration tests into the development process

6. Maintaining current capabilities of our app which include debugging and fixing issues while maintaining code quality

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of proven experience in building Android & iOS applications.

2. Bachelor's degree in computer science

3. Proficient in working with Jira and Confluence is a plus

4. Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly changing atmosphere and able to prioritize work and communicate challenges

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with technical and non-technical team members with experience working with both local and remote teams

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Java and Swift or SwiftUI experience is preferred

1K is an early-stage start-up building India’s first network of small-format stores (kiranas) for smaller towns through an integrated offline-online immersive experiential model. We have started off with the aggregation of kiranas, developing a franchise network for the delivery of daily necessities. We plan to build on the entrepreneurial spirit and underutilized real estate pockets hiding in India’s smaller towns and fuel Bharat’s growth through them. To help us in doing so, we are looking for an experienced product manager to own the full lifecycle of product development from conception through release. An ideal candidate should have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. You'll be responsible for developing android applications for managing various working aspects of e-commerce, warehousing & supply chain systems while playing a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment and help develop best practices for future development.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, releasing, and maintaining native Android Applications and oversee mobile application development efforts

Requirements:

What you need to have:

Your responsibilities include:

• Work on the LOTR (Locus on the road) app which is native app in Android in a small team of 3 engineers
• Apart from the app, there is LOTR SDK also which is in nascent stage. The role would require building up the SDK as well
• Write maintainable code with around 80% unit test coverage. Do PR (pull request) review of fellow engineers on the app
• If you are adventurous - opportunity will be provided to work on the backend API to which the LOTR app/SDK will communicate to. Backend is in all java
• We have some created some cool stuff around selective app upgrade setup. Also, our app development process is under CI/CD so you don’t have to build & release app manually.
