Summary:

Are you a sports fan eager to break into the exciting sports engagement space? As an Intermediate Android Developer at BeBetta, you'll gain invaluable experience building a rapidly growing app that's changing the way fans experience their favorite games.

Responsibilities:

• Implement new features and enhancements, working closely with senior team members.

• Collaborate across design, product, and engineering teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and code issues.

• Stay up-to-date on emerging Android development trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience developing Android apps using Kotlin and Java.

• Solid understanding of Android UI frameworks, layouts, and best practices.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and data handling.

• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)

• A keen interest in sports and a desire to build fan-centric features.

1. Proven working experience in Android app development and published at least one original Android app.
2. 1-3 years of experience in Android using the java language 
   Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs.
3. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
4. Knowledge of MVVM and other Mobile design patterns and best practices.
5. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
6. Work in Agile, cross-functional teams and taking responsibility for deliverables
7. Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions

• B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is required.
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.
• Experience with Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

As a core technical member of the team, you'll architect and build the mobile app from scratch. You'll be working closely with the core and technology team to lead engineering planning, and bring an innovative and delightful product to life. You'll sweat the details and make things shine. Who are you?

• You have 2+ years of experience in high scale products. Experience in e-commerce products will be a plus.
• You have experience in React native development and have built products in a start-up environment.
• You have a stronghold on programming, architecture, design pattern to lead long term scalable, stable and flexible tech.
• You are flexible, dedicated, team leader, curious and passionate about learning.

We'd particularly love it if:

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• You have experience with react native build tools.
• You are familiar with native iOS and android development.
• You have experience in RESTful APIs, automated testing suites like Jest & mocha.

This role is based out of Gurgaon.

Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) on both Android and iOS
- Build a framework as the application grows so our Apps and SDKs are unanimous. 
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code 
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions 
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance 
- Design interfaces to improve user experience 
- Liaise with Product team to plan new features 
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards 
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
- Work with latest Security protocols and data transfer optimisations

- Proven work experience as a Mobile developer with 3 - 5 years of experience. 
- Must be proficient in at least one programming language from Java, Swift & Objective C and must be willing to learn the other two. 
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs 
- Familiarity with OOP design principles 
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude 
- Ability to perform in a fast paced team environment
- Strong understanding of in-device security

Preferences:

If you have experience Building apps for fast-growing startups
- If you have hands-on experience on iOS and Android both
- If you have experience working with Flutter.

Note:Our Android application is being written in Java 
and iOS app in Objective C and Swift.
