We utilize various technology platforms, including native iOS, native Android, Flutter (our recent favorite), and React Native.

About you

• You love creating sleek, efficient, and pixel-perfect Android mobile apps using Java or Kotlin.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in Android development, with several apps published on the Play Store.
• You have experience interfacing with the camera, gyroscope, and other on-device hardware.
• You have integrated your apps with social networks and RESTful server-side APIs.
• You possess a solid understanding of the Android app development lifecycle.
• You enjoy collaborating with other smart people, learning, and working together.

Tech Stack You’ll Use

• Languages: Kotlin, Java
• Frameworks: Native Android, Jetpack, KMP, Unit Testing, Espresso
• Libraries: Android assisted libraries like Jetpack, Dependency Injection, etc.
• Backend/Infra: Firestore (Firebase), GCP
• Analytics: Amplitude
• AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor

• Expert in mobile app development for Android.
• Proficient understanding of Android SDKs.
• Proficient understanding of the Android development lifecycle.
• Expertise in developing online and offline apps.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git.

• Develop Android handset clients
• Develop architecture and low-end designs based on customer and product management requirements
• Communication of designs and other development issues to developers and managers
• Design, develop and manage automated unit and acceptance tests

• Minimum 3 - 5 years java development
• Third Level Qualifications in computing, mathematics, or science
• Experience in building web (PWA)/mobile app using ionic/reactjs (react native)

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience of working in an agile environment

• Experience in unit testing
• Scripting (JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Shell, etc.)
• Knowledge of build systems such as Maven and Gradle
• RESTful development

Skills and experiences

• E/ B.Tech in computer science or a related field.
• Efficient in Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Efficient in React native, React Js
• Experience with SQL/No-SQL database technologies – MySQL, Mongo dB, Cassandra, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Proficiency with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Experience in Web services (REST or SOAP)
• Familiar with Agile SDLC and CI/CD
• Development experience in both mobile & web.
• End to end development experience is highly preferred
• Good understanding of unit testing methodologies.
• Startup work culture mindset.

• Engineering Graduates or Postgraduates with 2-5 years of experience in mobile development, who have designed and developed advanced applications for the Android platform in B2C domain. Experience of development of app for retail domain is an added advantage.
