Title: Data Platform / Database Architect (Postgres + Kafka) — AI‑Ready Data Infrastructure

About Us

We are building a high‑throughput, audit‑friendly data platform that powers a SaaS for financial data automation and reconciliation. The stack blends OLTP (Postgres), streaming (Kafka/Debezium), and OLAP (ClickHouse/Snowflake/BigQuery), with hooks for AI use‑cases (vector search, feature store, RAG).

Role Summary

Own the end‑to‑end design and performance of our data platform—from multi‑tenant Postgres schemas to CDC pipelines and analytics stores—while laying the groundwork for AI‑powered product features.

What You’ll Do

• Design multi‑tenant Postgres schemas (partitioning, indexing, normalization, RLS), and define retention/archival strategies.  

• Make Postgres fast and reliable: EXPLAIN/ANALYZE, connection pooling, vacuum/bloat control, query/index tuning, replication.  

• Build event‑streaming/CDC with Kafka/Debezium (topics, partitions, schema registry), and deliver data to ClickHouse/Snowflake/BigQuery.  

• Model analytics layers (star/snowflake), orchestrate jobs (Airflow/Dagster), and implement dbt‑based transformations.  

• Establish observability and SLOs for data: query/queue metrics, tracing, alerting, capacity planning.  

• Implement data security: encryption, masking, tokenization of PII, IAM boundaries; contribute to PCI‑like audit posture.  

• Integrate AI plumbing: vector embeddings (pgvector/Milvus), basic feature‑store patterns (Feast), retrieval pipelines and metadata lineage.  

• Collaborate with backend/ML/product to review designs, coach engineers, write docs/runbooks, and lead migrations.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• 6+ years building high‑scale data platforms with deep PostgreSQL experience (partitioning, advanced indexing, query planning, replication/HA).  

• Hands‑on with Kafka (or equivalent) and Debezium/CDC patterns; schema registry (Avro/Protobuf) and exactly‑once/at‑least‑once tradeoffs.  

• One or more analytics engines at scale: ClickHouse, Snowflake, or BigQuery, plus strong SQL.  

• Python for data tooling (pydantic, SQLAlchemy, or similar); orchestration with Airflow or Dagster; transformations with dbt.  

• Solid cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)—networking, security groups/IAM, secrets management, cost controls.  

• Pragmatic performance engineering mindset; excellent communication and documentation.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Vector/semantic search (pgvector/Milvus/Pinecone), feature store (Feast), or RAG data pipelines.  

• Experience in fintech‑style domains (reconciliation, ledgers, payments) and SOX/PCI‑like controls.  

• Infra‑as‑Code (Terraform), containerized services (Docker/K8s), and observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry).  

• Exposure to Go/Java for stream processors/consumers.  

• Lakehouse formats (Delta/Iceberg/Hudi).

• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO’s attention
• Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance

QUALIFICATION: MBA

We are looking for a Full Stack Lead having worked on NodeJS and React with total experience of 4 to 6 years. Minimum two year of experience in NodeJS, React and Redux is required for this position.

Responsible for requirements understanding, propose architecture, detailed design, development and timely deliverables with the highest quality standards.

We are looking for Product creators who can work with minimum inputs from business and are able to deliver products quickly and with quality.

This person should have worked in Enterprise class product from scratch. Start-up experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Skills

·      Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

·      Thorough understanding of React.js, HTML, CSS and its core principles

·      Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

·      Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript

·      Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

·      Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

·      Familiarity with RESTful APIs

·      Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

·      Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

·      Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

·      Knowledge of CI/CD and should have worked on at least one tool like Jenkins etc.

·      Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

·      A knack for benchmarking and optimization

·      Familiarity with GIT Technology like GitHub, Bitbucket

Desirable (Nice to Have skills):

·      Knowledge of Data analytics platform like Meta Base.

·      Good understanding of digital marketing, Google & FB Analytics, consumer funnel data tracking tools, including SEO.

·      Experience of e-commerce start up would be an added plus.

·      Scaling experience using AWS, knowledge of EBS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices.

·      AWS Certification would be an added plus.

·      Knowledge of Dev/Ops and should be able to set up CI/CD quickly.

·      Participation in Hackathons is an added plus.

Eligibility

BTech or MTech in Computer Science from a reputed institute, IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, COEP (Pune), VJTI, BHU or ISM

Good knowledge on Data Structure and Algorithms.

Requirements :

- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Statistics or related field

- 3+ years of experience managing web and mobile products with a background in technical product management or engineering

- 7+ years of experience in building global enterprise SaaS products

- Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce or transportation domain is a plus

• Experience with distributed computing, software development, big data analytics, cloud computing, virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud, storage systems or content delivery as well as security protocols.
• Experience developing the User Interface and User Experience for complex software solutions deployed globally
• Experience with all major programming languages and SaaS database technologies
• Experience in building and scaling up the development function and a proven ability to attract, inspire, motivate and retain top tier talent
