Job Description: Veeva CRM Tester (EU/APAC Rollout)
Diabetic Care Medical Devices | Global Commercial Operations
Location: Remote / Hybrid (EU or APAC preferred, with overlap to US hours)
Engagement: Contract / Full-Time
Industry: Medical Devices – Diabetic Care
Experience: 5–8 years in software testing with strong functional Veeva CRM expertise
About the Role
A US-based leader in diabetic care medical devices is expanding its commercial operations into Europe and Asia-Pacific markets. As part of this strategic rollout, we are looking for a Veeva CRM Tester to ensure the quality, compliance, and seamless adoption of our Veeva CRM platform across EU and APAC affiliates.
You will partner with business analysts, Veeva administrators, developers, and regional commercial teams to validate CRM functionality, localization, integrations, and regulatory configurations — ensuring our field reps and medical teams have a reliable, compliant, and intuitive platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Test design and execution: Design, document, and execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT test cases for Veeva CRM modules across EU/APAC rollouts.
• Core Veeva CRM functionality: Validate Account Management, Call Reporting, Cycle Plans, Territory Management, Sample Management, Approved Email, CLM (Closed Loop Marketing), Medical Inquiry, Coaching Reports, and MyInsights.
• Localization and compliance: Test country-specific configurations including localization, language packs, currency, time zones, consent capture, and HCP/HCO compliance (EFPIA, MedTech Europe, APAC equivalents).
• Integration testing: Verify integrations between Veeva CRM and downstream/upstream systems (Veeva Network/OpenData, MDM, ERP/SAP, marketing automation, data warehouses, and analytics platforms).
• Release testing: Perform release testing for Veeva CRM seasonal General Releases (3x/year) and identify regression impact on existing functionality.
• Mobile and offline testing: Execute testing on Veeva CRM iPad and Veeva CRM for Browser, including offline sync scenarios.
• Data migration validation: Validate account, contact, address, affiliations, and historical call data migration during country go-lives.
• Defect management: Track and manage defects in JIRA / Azure DevOps / HP ALM; partner with developers and Veeva support on resolution.
• Test automation: Contribute to test automation strategy and execute scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Tosca where applicable.
• Regulatory documentation: Support GxP / CSV (Computer System Validation) documentation aligned with medical device regulatory standards (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU MDR, GDPR).
• Cross-region collaboration: Coordinate with US-based program team and EU/APAC affiliate stakeholders across multiple time zones.
Required Qualifications
• 5–8 years of software QA / testing experience, with at least 3+ years specifically testing Veeva CRM.
• Strong functional understanding of Veeva CRM modules and the underlying Salesforce platform (Veeva is built on Salesforce).
• Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM rollouts across multiple countries, ideally in EU and/or APAC.
• Solid grasp of life sciences / medical devices commercial processes — HCP engagement, sample compliance, multichannel cycle planning.
• Experience testing Veeva Network, Veeva Vault CRM, or Veeva OpenData integrations.
• Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, qTest, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks: GDPR, EU MDR, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and country-specific HCP transparency reporting laws.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Veeva CRM certifications (Veeva CRM Administrator / Veeva Align / Veeva Vault).
• Experience with Veeva Vault CRM migration (the next-gen platform replacing Salesforce-based Veeva CRM).
• Prior testing experience in medical devices, especially diabetes care, glucose monitoring, or insulin delivery systems.
• Exposure to automation frameworks like Provar (purpose-built for Veeva/Salesforce).
• Experience supporting multi-country, multi-language rollouts with phased go-lives.
• Familiarity with agile/SAFe delivery models and shift-left testing practices.
