Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive web applications using React.js and Node.js.

2. Build efficient, reusable front-end and back-end components for seamless performance.

3. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

4. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, mobile teams, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products.

5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following modern coding standards.

6. Debug, test, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

7. Manage databases using MongoDB and handle cloud deployment (AWS, Firebase, or similar).

8. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile development cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 1-5 years of proven experience in Full Stack Web Development using the MERN stack.

2. Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and JavaScript (ES6+).

3. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.

4. Hands-on experience with API design, state management (Redux, Context API), and authentication (JWT/OAuth).

5. Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).

6. Good understanding of database design, schema modeling, and RESTful architecture.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Deliverables and Performance Measures: 

• Team Leadership: 
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of QA professionals. 
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development to enhance team capabilities. 
• Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to QA Analysts and Senior QA Analysts. 
• Quality Assurance Strategy: 
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA processes and standards. 
• Define and enforce testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing processes, to ensure deliverables are of the highest quality. 
• Identify and mitigate risks in the testing cycle. 
• Client Collaboration: 
• Collaborate with client-facing teams, such as Strategic Account Management and Client Delivery Vertical Leads and Project Managers, to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. 
• Partner with clients to understand their quality requirements, review deliverables, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. 
• Testing Management: 
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of manual and automated test cases. 
• Ensure thorough testing of enhancements, bug fixes, and new features. 
• Collaborate with developers, solutions consultants, and other stakeholders to define testing and sign-off criteria. 
• Process Improvements: 
• Continuously improve workflows and tools to increase efficiency. 
• Stay updated on emerging QA technologies and trends. 
• Reporting and Documentation: 
• Track and report QA metrics (e.g., test coverage, pass/fail rates, defect slippage). 
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and resolutions to stakeholders. 

What Will Make You Successful: 

• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, standards, and frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, TQM). 
• Proficiency in creating and managing QA processes and documentation. 
• Knowledge of testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail). 
• Strong experience managing client-facing projects, ensuring deliverables meet contractual obligations and quality. 
• Life Insurance and Annuities proficiency or similar industry experience. 
• Ability to mentor and coach team to develop skill growth, retention, and innovation. 
• 9-12 years’ experience with a software development or tech background with exposure to leading a team of Quality Assurance Analysts or SDET. 
• Insight into nonfunctional testing. 

Highly Desirable Experience: 

• Firelight/Foresight experience.

Your skills and experience should cover:

• 5+ years of experience with developing, deploying, and debugging solutions on the AWS platform using ALL AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Cognito, Cloudtrail, CodePipeline, Cloud Formation, Cloudwatch and WAF (Web Application Firewall).

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Developer: Associate, is required; Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps Engineer: Professional, preferred.

• Hands-on experience migrating data to the AWS cloud platform

• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.
