Job Description:

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for working independently on components of an information development project. You will contribute to the team on a variety of projects and call upon team members for guidance as needed. You will contribute to the team and work independently.

Experience Range:

5 - 7 years

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong writing skills, namely a command of grammar, syntax, diction, and the conventions and best practices of writing a variety of technical documents.
• Experience in using the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA).
• Good knowledge and writing experience using XML-based authoring tools such as oXygen XML Editor.
• Create and maintain Online Help, Installation Guide, Upgrade Guide, Deployment Guide, Release Notes, Support Matrix, and other such product documentation deliverables.
• Design, develop, and write technically accurate and comprehensive product documentation that adheres to the MSTP.
• Understanding of core information development processes: content planning, content creation, and content review.
• Fundamental skills with the authoring tools used by the information development teams.
• Fundamental collaboration skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and other writers for updates in the product or the process.
• Ensure strict adherence to the delivery schedule by planning, tracking, and delivering as per sprint commitments.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, development design reviews, and documentation reviews.

Skills Required:

DITA XML, XMetal, Oxygen XML Editor, MSTP, Astoria, Visual Studio, Agile Environment, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC),

Desired Characteristics:

• Fundamental knowledge of core technical communication concepts, such as topic-based authoring, minimalism, task-oriented design, single-sourcing.
• Experience with content management systems, such as Astoria and Visual Studio.
• Basic skills in editing (QA for documentation) – ability to recognize errors in a variety of information deliverables.
• Working knowledge of Lean/Agile/XP software development processes and how to follow processes for information development.
• Working knowledge of major aspects of software design, development, and QA and how they affect the information development process.

Roles and Responsibilities :
- To  analyze business requirements, prepare design and implementation recommendations and estimate development effort
-  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Lead or participate in design reviews, code reviews and architecture evolution discussions
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Skills Required :
- Experienced with front end programming language with React JS.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.JS workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, ).
- Candidates with Good communication Skills. 

Main tasks

• Test preparation (test design, creation of test specifications and test cases for regression tests and tests of new and further developments)
• Sprint-accompanying testing in the Scrum team
• Test evaluation/documentation of the test results
• Cypress testing tool hands-on experience for Automation testing
• Further development of existing test automation processes
• Close cooperation with the SOL business unit and the test departments at other locations

Qualification profile

• Completed degree or comparable training with an IT background
• Affinity and many years of experience in systematic testing of software products
• Excellent ability to work in a team and an independent, structured way of working
• Practical knowledge of the application of test methods and quality management standards as well as test automation knowledge is advantageous
• Fluent in English

The ROLE

• Handle the inbound interest received by Marquee
• Get the inbound leads to setup an online demo with us
• Conduct a small research on the prospect’s company and background prior to the demo to conduct a smooth sales call
• Conduct online demos with the prospects and turn them into paying customers
• Ensure that the product demo is neat and organized
• Work with the prospects to understand their needs and pitch them the right Marquee product to solve their problems
• Manage on-going relationships with customers
• Run strategic follow ups (Calls/texts/emails) on the prospects to get in maximum sales
• Strive to achieve the sales targets
• Work with our Founder on strategic alliances - potentially travelling to various financial centers globally

• Knowledge/prior experience with startup fund raising is a distinct advantage
• WE'RE A REMOTE TEAM so you can work from wherever you like - you don't have to attend office on a day to day basis
• You should own a laptop
• EXCELLENT written & spoken English required
• We shall provide a 5-7 days training session once you join in.

• Able to create a UI and UX that would make the app simple to use and delight users.
• Firm grasp of the React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax including DOM Manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (Such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Able to fix the occurring bugs and iteratively improve the app, include newer features and keep the app up to date with all the iOS updates/ libraries that will be released.
