JavaYou will be responsible for:
- Owning the design and delivery of your code from cradle to grave.
- Peer reviewing your team mate’s code
- Being a key player in this client’s Digital Transformation – both implementing changes to existing APIs and developing new ones to integrate with the latest digital stack.
- Developing new and be-spoke features as well as working on large scale integrations
- Working in an Agile Scrum environment where you will be challenged and motivated
- Calling out risks if you spot them in a particular approach or design.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
- Technical design experience.
- Hands on Java development experience, in particular with Spring (minimum of 4 years)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and NodeJS is highly desirable
- You will have worked in an Agile Scrum environment and be comfortable with fast-paced Sprint Cycles
- Previous experience building web service API’s is key for this role – Apigee is the preferred technology
- Any experience with Microsoft Azure is a nice to have – this is the direction we are going
Additional skills we are looking for include:
- Spring Framework
- GIT
- Jenkins
- Maven
- Bash Scripting
- Oracle PL/SQL or any other SQL technologies
- Weblogic 12c or other container technologies
- Unit testing with Mockito
- Integration testing with FitNesse, Spock or similar

We are looking for a creative Visual Designer to shape and own the user interface design of our Customer Facing documents in form of Presentations, Graphics, cast studies, collaterals, infographics.
For this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including designers, Bid Managers, Architects and Sales to ensure our branding is consistent and appealing. If you have the ability to convey messages and information through illustrations, graphics and patterns, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will design aesthetically pleasing Visuals that capture our brand and engage our audiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to define user interface requirements
- Combine various colors, shapes, and typography fonts to improve user experience
- Use drawing applications to design original graphics
- Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
- Use visual design software to refine illustrations
- Apply sketching techniques, like gradients and contrasts to enhance digital images
- Present rough drafts to product managers and/or key stakeholders to gain approval
- Develop prototypes and models to use in various projects to maximize aesthetic consistency
- Brainstorm new ideas, layouts, and graphics
- Stay up to date with design application changes and industry developments
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer, or similar role
- Portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, animations, and graphics)
- Hands-on experience with image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; is a plus
- Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts
- Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects
- Attention to visual details
- BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts, or relevant qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience.
