SDE1 Data Scientist

We are looking for a digital native who understands that social media is about community, not just broadcasting. At Swastik Stories, we don't want a manager who simply "posts." Note: This role is specifically for someone who is a creator at heart. You should have an active personal handle, a niche page, or a YouTube channel (with a demonstrated following) that shows you know how to build an audience from scratch

What You’ll Do

• YouTube Shorts & Reels Specialist: Own the end-to-end execution of short-form content. You should know how to write hooks that prevent the scroll and captions that drive shares.
• Community Architect: Manage the YouTube Community Tab, Instagram DMs, and Facebook groups. Your goal is to turn "viewers" into "fans" by being nimble, witty, and deeply engaged.
• The Content Calendar: Plan, write, and organize the weekly/monthly organic content calendar across all platforms.
• Trend Adaptation: Spot global and local trends and figure out how they fit into the Swastik Stories brand voice without losing authenticity.
• English Mastery: Craft high-quality, grammatically perfect, and emotionally resonant copy in English.

Requirements

• The Creator Proof: You must have a personal handle/page/channel (any niche) with a loyal following. We want to see your "proof of work."
• Experience - 2+ years of experience in handling social media content
• Nimble Mindset: You are comfortable with "low-fi" content, quick pivots, and reacting to cultural moments in real-time.
• Mumbai Resident: Ready for a hybrid setup in Mumbai.

• Strong Product Designer profile, with a focus on UX works
• Mandatory (Experience 1) – Minimum 4+ YOE in end-to-end Product Design for B2B SaaS products
• Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have 1+ YOE in a small / mid-sized product startup

• Advanced lab experience (e.g., ATE, high-speed interface IP bring-up).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with peers from different geographies.
• Proficiency in UVM and SystemVerilog.
• Good to Know: PCIE and CXL specifications and design verification.

Preferred Experience:

• Technical knowledge of Interface IPs such as PCIe, Ethernet Protocols, Specification, Design, Verification, and Implementation.
• Proven track record in meeting tight schedules and handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in various ASIC design cycles, including HIP/SIP integration into high-scale SoCs, design verification flows, physical implementation, SI/PI, and silicon bring-up in the lab.

Experience: 1+ Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and code quality.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Contribute to the technical design and architecture of mobile applications, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability.

Evaluate and select appropriate libraries, frameworks, and tools to enhance the development process and application performance.

Implement new features and functionality in mobile applications based on project requirements and specifications.

Write clean and efficient code, conduct thorough testing, and ensure proper documentation of the implemented features.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems in mobile applications. Conduct debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications.

Optimize the performance of mobile applications by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, reducing loading times, and improving memory usage.

Conduct profiling and performance testing to enhance the overall user experience.

Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and compatibility of mobile applications across different devices and platforms.

Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to identify and resolve any defects or issues.

Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in mobile app development, particularly in the React Native ecosystem.

Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to contribute to the improvement of the team's development processes and standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a minimum of 1+years, specifically in mobile app development using React Native.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native framework.

Familiarity with native mobile development (iOS and Android) and related tools.

Experience with mobile app testing frameworks, such as Jest or Detox.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of mobile apps with backend services.

Knowledge of mobile app performance optimization techniques and tools.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 3-7 years of hands on experience in mobile app testing - iOS / Android 
• Mobile automation expertise (iOS, Android) using Appium. 
• Experience having automated in an Agile environment. 
• Experience with issue tracking tool (JIRA) and reporting tools. 
• Experience with source code management and build tools - Git, SVN, Maven, Gradle 
• Experience in using Charles Tool / Fiddler 
• Programming language: Java 
• Automation tool: Selenium, Appium 
• Others: Jira, GIT, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, TestNG 

• Experience working and automating in REST APIs based WS environment. 
• Strong knowledge on current automation trends. 
• Knowledge of Performance testing on mobile applications.

* Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services

* Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)

* Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
