What would you be required to do?

·      Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile, and analyze bottlenecks

·      Design performance gauging, building robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients

·      Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud

·      Optimization of web applications for performance and scalability

·      Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing

·      Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging

·      Write clean code to develop functional web applications

·      Troubleshoot and debug applications

·      Perform UI tests to optimize performance

·      Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications

·      Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

·      Gather and address technical and design requirements

·      Provide training and support to internal teams

·      Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Skills Needed:

·      PHP Laravel Framework, PHP Design Patterns.

·      Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

·      APIs, REST API, SOAP API, API Security, Open APIs

·      Push Notifications, Laravel Events, Queue, Observers

·      Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design

·      Experience writing highly secure web applications

·      Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies

·      Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas

·      Experience designing RESTful APIs, specifically for mobile apps

·      Computer science degree or equivalent experience

·      Experience leading a team

·      3-6 Years’ experience in back-end development.

Have an experience building backend server side applications in Node.js and Express.js

Have in-depth knowledge and experience of using ES6+ features and Object Oriented Principles

Have sound knowledge and are familiar with databases like MongoDb - (Preferred) and Mysql.

Have good exposure to cloud native technologies (AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) 

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment 

Have experience in optimising backend API’s and database queries for optimal performance.

You are good at problem solving and have analytical skills 

You are flexible in adapting new technologies and frameworks as per the projects needs

• PHP Web Development experience - Core PHP and PHP frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as Laravel, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack}
• Should have positive and adaptive behavior. Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding client requirements & functional specifications
• Developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications
• Ensuring foolproof performance of the deliverable
• Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML
• Experience with Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, Magento would be added advantage.
• Must have the capacity to work independently and as a part of a team
• Eager to learn new web technologies
