Opening for PHP developer at Navi Mumbai -Belapur

Work Mode- Hybrid

Notice period- Immediate - 15 days

Role & responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integration of data storage solutions

Skills And Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel)
• Familiarity with MYSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with team-mates and customers to identify problems and solutions in working toward completion of project goal. • Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements • Initiator and communicator – Drive communication with potential customers through effective product demonstrations, understand their needs, and provide feedback to product teams. • Develop components of the technical solution • Help/co-ordinate with teammates in the creation of custom components and applications • Perform tests according to a given test plan and documents results • Perform basic support and debugging in test and production environment • Identify and escalate problems • Maintain and repair existing applications

Desired Skills:

• Work Experience in Sitecore's latest version • Good experience with .Net 4.5, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MVC, Web services, SQL Server • Good knowledge of Sitecore CMS Strong knowledge of Visual Studio, TFS, and at least one of the .NET languages (Vb.Net, C#, ASP.NET) • Hands-on experience in .Net Core. • Deep understanding of the web: protocols, architecture, infrastructure, servers (IIS), proxies, load balancing, high availability, and databases, etc. • Deep understanding of modern patterns and practices: unit testing, inversion of control, repository, MVC and continuous integration, etc. • Good to have- Knowledge in Sitecore 10.0/ Sitecore Headless Architecture 

We're looking for Senior Node js backend developers with over 2+ years of experience and strong expertise in Javascript based development using Node js and Express. We are looking for cadidates who are go-getters and are leaning towards leadership positions. Candidates must have a proven history of building, scaling, optimising and securing Node js based backends and APIs using a microservice architecture.

Bonus Skill : Experience with ReactJs, Postgres

We would prefer candidates who can join immediately or are currently serving their notice period.

Key Skills Required

1. A passion for Javascript based solutions and an extremely strong understanding of JavaScript

2. Proficiency in Node js and Express based development

3. Stong experience in building scalable REST APIs

4. Experience in implenting API security using tokens, encryptions keys and other methods

Responsibilities

1. Understanding requirement and congributing to engineering solutions at a conceptual stage to provide the best possible solution to the task/challenge

2. Building high quality code using coding standards based on the SRS/Documentation

3. Building component based, maintainable, scalable and reusable backend libraries/modules.

4. Building & documenting scalable APIs on the Open Spec standard

5. Unit testing development modules and APIs

6. Conducting code reviews to ensure that the highest quality standard are maintained

7. Securing backend applications and APIs using industry best practices

8. Troubleshooting issues and fixing bugs raised by the QA team efficiently.

• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team. 
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools 
• Develop backend data services and contribute to increasing existing APIs 
• Ability to act individually in a complex and fast-paced environment
• Closely work with the Product and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery 
• Participate in solution designing with Tech leads and Systems Architects
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development efforts 
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development 

• BE/BTech or some equivalent academic stance. 

• 2-5 years’ experience 
• A confident, self-starter, team player with drive, enthusiasm, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills 
• Ability to manage yourself and be a self-starter.

• Strong in establishing systems & processes 
• Expertise in Laravel, MySQL, and Git
