Inflection.io is a venture-backed B2B marketing automation company, enabling to communicate with their customers and prospects from one platform. We're used by leading SaaS companies like Sauce Labs, Sigma Computing, BILL, Mural, and Elastic, many of which pay more than $100K/yr (1 crore rupee).

And,... it’s working! We have world-class stats: our largest deal is over 3 crore, we have a 5 star rating on G2, over 100% NRR, and constantly break sales and customer records. We’ve raised $14M in total since 2021 with $7.6M of fresh funding in 2024, giving us many years of runway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems and applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define and implement innovative solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code, ensuring high performance and scalability of the software.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, evaluating their potential for adoption in our projects.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Golang or C#
• Strong understanding of database systems, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You have 3 to 14 yrs of software engineering & product delivery experience with strong

background in datastructures & algorithms

• You’ve proven software development credentials having successfully built complex

products

• You are experienced with one or more general programming languages (e.g. Java, C/C++,

Go). Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

• You have a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer science, with familiarity in

data structures, algorithms and a strong command of object-oriented principles.

• You have experience in one or more of the following areas: Server Backend, Distributed

and Parallel Systems, Full Stack Development (frontend and backend), Scalable Enterprise

Platforms and Applications, Application Security and Incident Management, Android,

iOS, and Machine Learning.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Feature Development: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to implementation and deployment of new features and enhancements.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality across the team.
• Database Management: Work with relational databases (e. g., PostgreSQL) to design, optimize, and maintain database schemas and queries.
• Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. Conduct debugging and troubleshooting as needed.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
• API Integration: Integrate with third-party APIs and services as required for application functionality.
• Scalability: Contribute to the scalability of our applications to handle increased load and user traffic.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile or Scrum development processes, attend sprint planning meetings, and provide status updates on tasks.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to Ruby on Rails development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, typically 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and associated libraries and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e. g., Git) and collaboration tools (e. g., GitHub or GitLab).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Any additional certifications or experience with cloud services (e. g., AWS, Azure) would be a plus.

• Previous working experience as a MEAN Stack Developer for 1+ years
• BSc degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field 
• In-depth knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS or Restify
• Experience implementing applications using Angular 1 or React
• Experience creating front end applications using HTML5, Angular, LESS/SASS
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
• Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns, minimum one-year experience with MEAN Fullstack paradigm
• Knowledge of the following will be considered as an advantage:
• Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web applications
• Experience with cloud technologies also a plus
• Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, Javascript, JQuery
• Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git).

1. Should be very strong Scala development(Coding)
2. With Any combination of Java/Python/Spark/Bigdata
3. 3+ years experience in Core Java/Scala with good understanding of multithreading
4. The candidate must be good with Computer Science fundamentals
5. Exposure to python/perl and Unix / K-Shell scripting
6. Code management tools such as Git/Perforce.
7. Experience with large batch-oriented systems 
8. DB2/Sybase or any RDBMS
9. Prior experience with financial products, particularly OTC Derivatives
10. Exposure to counterparty risk, margining, collateral or confirmation systems
