About the Role

We are looking for a capable, self-driven Full-Stack Developer who can own both the front-end and back-end of web applications. You will work across the complete stack — building Angular-powered interfaces, developing scalable Node.js services, designing and managing MySQL databases, and creating robust APIs that tie it all together.

Strong technical ability is essential, but so is communication. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional team members, which means you need to express technical concepts clearly, surface blockers proactively, and deliver without hand-holding. Our evaluation process is designed to test both.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive, and performant Angular applications
• Build reusable components, services, and modules following Angular best practices
• Implement clean, accessible UI/UX across web and device types using HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and real-time data sources

Back-End Development & API

• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side applications using Node.js
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs — including versioning, authentication, error handling, and documentation
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services into the application layer
• Implement back-end business logic, middleware, and service layers

Database – MySQL

• Design and manage MySQL database schemas, tables, relationships, and indexing strategies
• Write optimised SQL queries, stored procedures, and handle migrations
• Perform back-end data validation and ensure data integrity across the application
• Diagnose and resolve database performance bottlenecks

Full-Stack Ownership

• Work across the full development lifecycle — from requirement analysis and architecture through to deployment and ongoing support
• Conduct real-time testing during development to validate quality at every stage before handoff
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving codebase standards
• Debug and resolve issues independently across the full stack with minimal escalation

Required Technical Skills

Front-End

• Strong expertise in Angular (v12+ preferred) — components, services, reactive forms, routing, state management, and Angular CLI
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid command of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap — responsive and cross-browser development
• Experience with RxJS for reactive and asynchronous programming patterns
• Familiarity with AJAX and JSON-based client-server communication

Back-End & API

• Hands-on experience with Node.js — Express.js or equivalent framework
• RESTful API design and implementation — authentication (JWT / OAuth), input validation, rate limiting, error handling
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and performance optimisation in Node.js

Database

• Strong proficiency in MySQL — schema design, query optimisation, indexing, and stored procedures
• Experience with an ORM such as Sequelize or equivalent
• Ability to handle data migrations and version-controlled database changes

Engineering Practices

• Version control via Git — branching, pull requests, and collaborative workflows
• Understanding of MVC / layered architecture patterns
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines and basic DevOps concepts is a plus

AI-Tool Fluency (Required)

• Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as Claude (Anthropic), GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or equivalent platforms
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate full-stack development, generate boilerplate, write tests, and debug across Angular, Node.js, and MySQL
• Comfortable prompting, evaluating, and critically iterating on AI-generated code
• Awareness of the limitations and responsible use of AI in a professional software environment
• Willingness to continuously upskill as AI tooling evolves

Communication Requirements

Strong communication is non-negotiable. You will interact directly with clients and cross-functional team members. We expect:

• Clear, professional written and spoken English
• Ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive communication — surface blockers, clarify ambiguities, and provide status updates without being prompted
• Comfortable participating in client calls and written correspondence independently

Evaluation Process

Our evaluation process is rigorous and multi-stage, assessing real-world full-stack capability — not just the ability to recite answers.

• Stage 1 — Technical Assessment: Timed coding challenge covering Angular, Node.js, MySQL, and API design
• Stage 2 — Communication Round: Assessed on clarity, articulation, and ability to discuss technical decisions
• Stage 3 — Live Technical Interview: Architecture discussion, code walkthrough, and full-stack problem-solving under observation
• Stage 4 — AI Tool Proficiency: Practical demonstration of AI-assisted development across the stack

Candidates who perform well technically but demonstrate weak communication or low AI-tool familiarity will not be progressed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field
• 2–5 years of professional full-stack development experience — Angular, Node.js, and MySQL are all required, not optional
• Portfolio of shipped full-stack projects strongly preferred — links to repositories or live applications welcome

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer with 3.5+ years of experience in building scalable backend services and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS. This is a key position that requires a deep understanding of Golang and cloud infrastructure to help us build robust solutions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using Golang.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services like Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and more.

• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes or AWS ECS for container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.

About the Role

We are looking for founding Backend Engineers to build a highly performant, reliable, and scalable API platform that makes enterprise video knowledge readily available for video search, summarization, and natural‑language Q&A. You will partner closely with our ML team working on vision‑language models to productionize research and deliver fast, trustworthy APIs for customers.

Examples of technical challenges you will work on include: distributed video storage, a unified application framework and data model for indexing large video libraries, low‑latency clip retrieval, vector search at scale, and end‑to‑end build, test, deploy, and observability in cloud environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build robust backend services and APIs (REST, gRPC) for vector search, video summarization, and video Q&A.
• Own API performance and reliability, including low‑latency retrieval, pagination, rate limiting, and backwards‑compatible versioning.
• Design schemas and tune queries in Postgres, and integrate with unstructured storage.
• Implement observability across metrics, logs, and traces. Set error budgets and SLOs.
• Write clear design docs and ship high‑quality, well‑tested code.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate and productionize VLMs and retrieval pipelines.
• Take ownership of architecture from inception to production launch.

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven experience building and scaling polished WebSocket, gRPC, and REST APIs.
• Exposure to distributed systems and container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra), including schema design, query optimization, and scaling.
• Familiarity with our stack is a plus, but not mandatory: Python (FastAPI), Celery, Kafka, Postgres, Redis, Weaviate, React.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on work with LLM agents, vector embeddings, or RAG applications.
• Building video streaming pipelines and storage systems at scale (FFmpeg, RTSP, WebRTC).
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS) and responsive UI design.

Location & Culture

• Full-time, in-office role in Bangalore (we’re building fast and hands-on).
• Must be comfortable with a high-paced environment and collaboration across PST time zones for our US customers and investors.
