We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hallmark Laboratory Analyst to perform testing and certification of precious metal jewellery in accordance with hallmarking standards and regulatory guidelines. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing gold, silver, and other precious metal samples to verify purity, fineness, and authenticity.

Key responsibilities include conducting tests using approved methods such as XRF analysis, fire assay, and other chemical or instrumental techniques; preparing and handling samples with precision; and accurately recording and reporting test results. The role involves ensuring compliance with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) or relevant hallmarking authority requirements and maintaining proper documentation for certification.

The Hallmark Lab Analyst will operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), and adhere strictly to laboratory safety and quality control standards. The analyst may also assist in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement of testing processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of precious metal testing, laboratory practices, and hallmarking regulations. Attention to detail, integrity, and accuracy are essential. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
