Job Title: Senior iOS Software Developer

Location: Tardeo, Mumbai

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and backend engineering, to deliver innovative and user-friendly mobile experiences. As a senior developer, you will also mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the scalability and performance of our mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex iOS applications for a diverse range of verticals including Finance, retail and Healthcare from concept to release, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Architecture: Make architectural decisions, design scalable solutions, and optimize performance across a range of iOS devices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices for software development, including unit testing and continuous integration.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges, ensuring the stability and responsiveness of applications.
• Innovation: You , and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support development processes, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of released applications that can be shared for review.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading
• Experience with embedded databases and other system data stores
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.
• Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
• Good sense of UI design execution principles
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries to connect to backend services.
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests, benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the development of our across all phases of software and web development including ideation, prototyping, design, production, and maintenance.
• Work closely with founders and internal/external stakeholders to build products, tools, and services from scratch and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Be actively involved in requirements gathering, customer interviews and the creation of robust product solutions.
• Brainstorm and lay the foundations of the technology and architectural roadmap as well as the development processes.
• Share your technical expertise to help the team make thoughtful and scalable design decisions and identify performance bottlenecks to troubleshoot quickly.
• Manage product development priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Hire and manage a small team of engineers (internal/outsourced).
• Ensure high-performant and responsive web applications and websites.

Skills & Qualities we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 4-7 years of experience as a full-stack developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers) at a fast-paced, preferably early / growth stage start-up.
• Proficient with frontend technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript & ReactJS/VueJS.
• Proficient with backend technologies - Java/NodeJs/Golang/Python/Ruby.
• Hands-on experience working with any cloud AWS/GCP/Azure/DigitalOcean.
• Knowledge of codebases and version control systems (Git).
• Well-versed with SQL database design & RDBMS concepts.
• Strong arithmetic reasoning, logical and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong knowledge of code quality maintenance and performance analysis.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in professional Web Development
• Proven software development experience in Core PHP, Codeigniter, WordPress; Laravel is a plus.
• Must have 1+ yrs experience in VueJs or React.Js
  
• Experience in ReactJs, NodeJs is a plus.
• Excellent Software Design and Architecting capabilities
• Complete familiarity with client-side scripting and Angular JS, Ember JS , JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Complete familiarity and expertise in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Expertise in third party API integration - payment gateways, Storage, Streaming services, etc.
• Complete familiarity and experience working with JSON / XML and REST API structure
• Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment technologies such as Bitbucket, Jenkins and Git
• AWS/Google Cloud Deployment is a must; Devops capability is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
• Sound Database experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL experience
• A sound knowledge of Object-Oriented (OOPS) Programming & Design Pattern.
• Agile and Iterative (TDD) development expertise.

• Timely preparation and implementation of training calendar on monthly and annual basis
• Identifying the training needs of the employees and nominating for the suitable programs
• Timely nominations for all training programs (Internal & External) and making arrangements/ communication/ coordination
• Organizing induction training programs
• Conducting training programs for front line employees by aligning organizations’ learning strategy with business objectives
• Preparing monthly and annual training MIS and maintaining record of all trainings in HRMS/ERP

Responsibilities

• Manage and Design for various communications on channels like Email, Notifications, In-app/Web/m-web properties

• Product campaigns and brand campaigns (ATL/BTL) either contribute directly and/or oversee if led by agency

• Off-line collaterals like Point-of-sale, Posters, Danglers etc.

• Social media campaigns

• Internal communications on need basis

• Work in-close collaboration with growth, brand marketing, designer and agencies (on need basis) as a team of 3 – you the designer, copywriter and content writer
