Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework for Service Management, ITSM, and Assurance domains.
• Lead a team of Senior Architects to define and implement solutions aligned with the Target Architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across projects and architectural initiatives.
• Ensure valuestream architectures comply with Enterprise Architecture standards, including coordination with CoEs and other architecture areas.
• Support organization-wide initiatives such as Portfolio IT prioritization and vertical alignment from an architecture perspective.
• Collaborate with CoE leads to define E2E strategy views, target architectures, and roadmaps.
• Report directly to the Chief B2B Architect.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in the telecommunications industry.
• Deep knowledge of service management and ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL), including customer segments and contract types.
• Expertise in B2B assurance domain, including reactive and proactive incident management, OLA tracking, and inventory management.
• Experience with complex B2B large enterprise products and contract onboarding processes.
• Hands-on experience with BSS/OSS architecture transformation and delivery.
• Familiarity with Telecommunication business models, processes, and industry standards (e.g., TM Forum).
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging from C-level executives to implementation teams.
• Expertise in ServiceNow architecture design is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of software modeling tools and documentation (e.g., UML, PlantUML, MKDocs, LeanIX).
• Experience working within Agile (SAFe) environments using tools like Jira.
• Basic understanding of cloudification, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
• Software development and application development background is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a bonus but not mandatory.

KEY DUTIES

• Independently own and resolve high-priority or complex customer issues with minimal supervision
• Reproduce and analyze product defects using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools
• Collaborate with developers to identify root causes and drive timely resolution of defects
• Identify trends in escalations and provide feedback to improve product quality and customer experience
• Document investigation findings, root causes, and resolution steps clearly for both internal and external audiences
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements to enhance team efficiency
• Represent the escalation team in product reviews or defect triage meetings
• Build subject matter expertise in specific products or components
• Mentor and assist junior team members by reviewing their investigations and coaching through complex cases
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and backlog refinement
• Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Typically requires 3–6 years of technical experience in a support, development, or escalation role
• Strong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Proficient in debugging tools, logs, and test environments
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex issues and drive them to closure
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, Agile environment
• Proficiency with relevant scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — especially when engaging with customers in critical or escalated situations
• Demonstrated customer-first mindset with an emphasis on clarity, empathy, and follow- through
