As a Test Engineer, you navigate Rapido's massive codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. Rapido's Engineering team is looking for a talented and experienced Test Engineer to lead all aspects of new product and feature qualification from concept to post-release monitoring to ensure we quickly ship features that delight customers. As a Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain a breadth of understanding about software development complex systems. You will have the opportunity to work on and with every single Rapido's moudle product: Raipdo Core, Broadcast, Data and App team. all while working with a nimble team. Responsibilities Create tests plans, test cases, test strategy, running tests, implementing build and test infrastructure, test automation and ensure good engineering practices by the team. Prepare test plans for Cloud testing and manage incoming inquiries from testers. Track and report testing status across active projects. Work with other teams at Rapido to ensure efficient testing workflows. Build out automation to streamline testing. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience with automated testing and test automation tools. 3 years of experience building User Interface (UI) automation from the ground up and implementing it for use in a release process. 2 years of experience with clear and well documented test case writing. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with Moblile Application and API testing. Ability to deal with test environment configurations and management. Possess diverse exploratory testing skills with understanding of browser and other debugging tools.
Job Summary: Software Engineer(Testing/QA) responsibilities include designing and implementing test plans, handling a team of junior testers, debugging and defining corrective actions. He/She will review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) Responsibilities and Duties Need to develop a test plan and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Create test cases based on the requirements and other documents. Set up the required test beds (hardware, software, and network). Report defects, close defects, does regression testing. Qualifications and Skills 1 to 3 years of work experience in software development and QA. Experience in handling enterprise products is a plus. Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience of end to end product testing is a plus Experience with test automation is a plus
