QA engineer

About the Role

We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive Operations Interns to join our team remotely for a 3-month internship. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in business operations, process management, and cross-functional coordination. While this is an unpaid internship, interns who successfully complete the program will receive a Completion Certificate and a Letter of Recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day business operations and process management.
• Support project coordination and ensure tasks are executed on time.
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation for operational activities.
• Collaborate with different teams (HR, Marketing, Tech, etc.) to ensure smooth workflows.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Track and monitor key operational metrics.
• Contribute to internal communication and scheduling.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Internship Details

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop clean, high-performing, responsive and multilingual user experiences for our eCommerce sites using alpinejs and tailwind
• Working closely with project managers to address client requests 
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements quickly
• Proactively identify and address engineering challenges to enhance the overall quality and performance of our web applications.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand business requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements.
• Ability to write algorithms in Javascript
• Strong knowledge of web technologies and concepts, including HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, components architecture, performance optimization techniques, and tools like Lighthouse.
• Proficiency in core JavaScript concepts and familiarity with jQuery.
• Knowledge of modern frameworks such as AlpineJS providing an added advantage.
• Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of B2C user experience metrics using industry-standard analytics tools.
• Knowledge of php and Magento would be an advantage.
• Understanding of web UIs, demonstrated through a portfolio

• Responsible for the entire infrastructure including Production (both bare metal and AWS).
• Manage and maintain the production systems and operations including SysAdmin, DB activities.
• Improve tools and processes, automate manual efforts, and maintain the health of the system.
• Champion best practices, CI-CD, Metrics Driven Development
• Optimise the company's computing architecture
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
• Maintain security of the system
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation

• 7+ years of experience into DevOps/Technical Operations
• Extensive experience in operating scripting language like shell, python, etc
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for SaaS applications using tools such as Jenkins
• Hands on experience in using configuration management tools such as Puppet, SaltStack, Ansible, etc
• Hands-on experience to build and handle VMs, Containers utilizing tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, etc
• Hands on experience in building, designing and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure,GCP, etc
• Knowledge of Databases (MySQL, NoSQL)
• Knowledge of security/ethical hacking

• Have experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, LogStash
• Have experience with Cassandra, Hadoop, or Spark
• Have experience with Mongo, Hive

• Experience of providing technical leadership in the Big Data space (Hadoop Stack like Spark, M/R, HDFS, Pig, Hive, HBase, Flume, Sqoop, etc. Should have contributed to open source Big Data technologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python
• Experience in visualizing and evangelizing next-generation infrastructure in Big Data space (Batch, Near Real-time, Real-time technologies).
• Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting, applying, and contributing towards cutting edge open source technologies and software paradigms
• Strong understanding and experience in distributed computing frameworks, particularly Apache Hadoop 2.0 (YARN; MR & HDFS) and associated technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and its components (Streaming, SQL, MLLib)
  Operating knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, especially EMR, EC2, S3, SWF services, and the AWS CLI)
• Experience working within a Linux computing environment, and use of command-line tools including knowledge of shell/Python scripting for automating common tasks

• Researching relevant influencers & content creators and establishing
relationships with them
• Aptly selecting influencers & content creators basis brand objectives
• Brainstorming new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns
• Keeping abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencers
• Managing the P&L of all influencers executed across platforms

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Candidates with 1-2 years of work experience will be preferred. However,
freshers are more than welcome to apply.
