Datacultr allows the lender to give out unsecured loans, at a lower risk, by allowing borrowers to present their newly purchased or existing Smartphone as collateral. We are live in India, South-East Asia, Kenya, Tanzania & LATAM, thus far over our clients have secured over 800k loans on the platform in the last 12 months, amounting to a loan value of around US$92Mn. SALARY PACKAGE – Depends upon the skillset and interview NOTICE PERIOD – Can join at the earliest About Role We are looking for Quality Assurance Engineer who can manage end to end testing cycle and support in testing responsibilities.

Key Responsibility

 Hands-on experience with Functional, Performance, Scalability and Reliability Testing

 Ability to test, validate and certify high volume datasets

 Experience in API testing and integration testing is must.

 Exposure on tools like POSTMAN is mandatory.

 Exposure to Cypress is a plus

 Experience in Report Testing (charts, Table, Graphs or any other Visualization) will be a plus

 Experience in Android Testing

 Provide regular reports on testing and resolution status, including metrics

 Review test strategy, test plans and test cases/scenarios for each platforms

 Using Test Management tools will be a plus.

 Experience in agile, managing the QA team with agile mindset, working across multiple projects having different scrum teams, helping the team transition to agile, provide advice on challenging situations  Ensuring the teams (Scrum Teams) implement and follow best practices to prevent defects

 Supervise QA team and the quality assurance process; this includes setting and communicating priorities, ensuring deadlines are met, and reviewing staff tasks and performance, managing complete staff hiring (taking tests and interviews) and onboarding activities for new hires in QA team.

Key Requirement -

 At least 2+ years Years of experience in QA

 Presently working in a CMM Level 5 organization or an ISO 27001 certified organization

 Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards

 Excellent experience in manual and automation testing skills  Have good people management skills

Roles and responsibilities:

• Good understanding of QA methodology, automation expertise and ability to code.
• A keen understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment is needed.
• Develop, Execute the test cases and Report Bugs
• Send regular status reports, on bugs and functionality, tested
• Record test results, screenshots, etc. (failed ones)
• Create the test report and Conduct post-testing clean-up
• Run the regression tests
• Suggest fixes, identify functional problems and document technical issues and solutions
• In-depth knowledge of the SDLC as well as various software testing methodologies.
• Perform Functional/Black box testing, SQL queries, and Data Analysis.
• Using Bug tracking (Trello/JIRA), Project Tracking and SVN software produced various reports/metrics.
• Support the testing phase (system testing, SIT, UAT, non-regression testing) and ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes.
• You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.
• Manage and communicate regular updates on project status like work completed, work in progress, next steps, risks, mitigation, quality to QA manager and stakeholders.
• Present complex technical ideas (both written and verbal), anticipate potential objections and persuade others to adopt the most appropriate view.
• Establish an end-to-end view and capture all key requirements. establish clear functional and non-functional requirements like capacity, availability, and response times.
• Ensure that all requirements are 'testable' and agree on test strategy with the business and test team lead.
• Should have basic knowledge on integrating API Keys for AI tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the testing, identifying issues and subsequent fixing in entire PDLC
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Quality review and signoff of new features
• Understand product architecture and functionality
• Create Test Case/Test script writing
• Should be ready to convert unvaried test cases into automated test scripts

The ideal candidate must have -

• At least 2 years of practical experience in defining, developing, maintaining and executing test cases
• Prior experience dealing with full product development lifecycles and multiple releases
• Experience of working with Web, Mobile, and API Testing
• Basic understanding of good programming practices, architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of Performance & Security Testing
• Solid analytical & problem-solving skills and experience of working in Agile process management methodology
• Should be excellent at communication, be able to explain ideas clearly.
• Must be extremely proactive and self-starter.
• Good knowledge of test automation tools like PyTest, Mocha, Cypress or comparable is a big plus.

This person MUST have: 

- BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent. 

- Experience testing IOT devices managed by cloud. 

- Manual testing experience and a desire to learn and work with the latest technologies. Web, Cloud and Mobile App testing. 

- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; schedule and execute test cycles; contribute to testability & quality of software. 

- Reports all defects accurately; facilitate problem tracking and successful resolution; assess and communicate various risks involved and provide necessary assistance to engineers and stakeholders. 

- Basic knowledge of automation know-how [ API automation, Python] - Test to fail mindset, Solid test strategy experience, well versed with QA processes. - Hands on experience on Performance test angle.
