Opportunity:

We are looking for a QA Engineer whose key goals would be to drive software quality and reduce risks in our releases. This would involve doing both functional tests as well as building the automated tests for our CI systems. Expect lots of challenges and high levels of ownership and autonomy. Come up with testing procedures to validate functional, system, and performance requirements for new features Ensuring the quality of releases for the features by running the test cases and reporting them Write and maintain automated test suites for functional and performance testing Keep the manual test cases updatedParticipate in the product feature design and specification with Product Managers, UX engineers, and developers

What We are looking for?

• 2+ years of total experience in a QA role.
• Should be able to write quality test cases on the problem statement.
• 1+ years of experience in QA automation with any of the Selenium, Playwright or Webdriver.io etc.
• Knowledge of at least one high-level programming language like Python, Javascript, Java etc.
• Hands-on experience with Code version control systems like Git.
• Work with the Customer Support team to reproduce customer problems and provide solutions to customers.

Good to have skills?

• Experience with RESTful API testing tools like Postman and performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with Build and Continuous Integration (CI) systems like Jenkins.
• Experience working with Linux/Unix platforms and security aspects of testing is a plus.

Job Description:

• Works with team to drive improvements in code quality via manual testing
• Works to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed corporate quality goals
• Delivers on capabilities for the product suite automation strategy
• Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
• Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards
• Creates logs to document testing phases and defects
• Monitors and tracks resolution of defects and takes part in daily standup 
• Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques
• Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional or performance tests, and managing defects
• Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Working knowledge of test management software like Jira
• Strong in analytical skills and should be a team player
• Competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality
• Ability to handle conflict effectively

• Managing the solving of problems concerning the test automation infrastructure
• Understand and maintain Test Automation Frameworks.
• Follow the coding standards and code walk through.
• Maintain Automation Standards and Processes documentation.
• Write automated test scripts under the direction of the Test Automation Lead.
• Ability to work independently on tasks / modules assigned related to automation
• Monitoring of and reporting on the progress of the test automation process
• Reporting on the quality of the test object
• Raise risks on time and provide alternate solutions to mitigate the risk
• Advice and support for the implementation of all types of tools

• Must have worked in an environment where they know when to perform what kind of testing; say smoke, regression, integration, sanity
• Must have test plan, strategy, cases development experience.
• Knowledge on Android/iOS app testing (usage of Debugging tools relevant is added bonus)
• Must know to prioritize work items based on the business need
• Knows how to handle tough timelines situations and not compromise quality.
• Must have experience in product management methodology such as agilenon-process oriented environment
• Should have experience in any of the ALM tools such as TFS JIRA or even be open to build application reporting structure in excel.

• Run Re-Tests and Regression Tests.
• Develop & Run Release Tests

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

1. Strong Fundamentals on Manual Testing.
2. Some experience on API Automation Testing .
3. Basic understanding of any of the coding languages.(During the interview one coding question will be asked)
4. Basic understanding of SQL.(During the interview one SQL question will be asked)
5. Preferred Experience ( 2-6 yrs)
