QA Executive / Tester

The QA specialist is responsible for daily product testing, ensuring high-quality standards, and reporting issues directly to the Team Leader.

• Test the product every day to identify defects and ensure functionality.
• Assure the quality of the product by adhering to quality standards and specifications.
• Communicate proactively with the Team Leader (TL) for all identified issues, bugs, and status updates.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The Software Tester will be responsible for identifying defects, executing test cases, documenting issues, and working closely with developers and other team members to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and understand application functionality.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Re-test resolved defects and perform regression testing.
• Conduct manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Verify software functionality across different browsers, devices, and environments.
• Prepare test plans, test reports, and other QA documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Help improve testing processes and overall product quality.
• Support automation testing activities where required.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality releases.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Perform database testing and write SQL queries to validate data in backend.
• Utilize Charles Proxy or similar tools(like DevTools) for network traffic analysis and debugging.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify expectations.
• Document test cases, test plans, and report defects efficiently.
• Ensure good software quality standards and best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior testers if required.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong experience in API testing and database validation.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with web and mobile app testing.
• Ability to work with network proxy tools such as Charles Proxy.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and drive discussions on requirements and issue resolutions.
• Experience in Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management tools.

Manual Tester:

Mandatory Skills:

• Around 3-6 years experience in Manual testing complex applications
• Should be able to follow the defined test plan/strategy and perform test execution and report defects/track to closure
• Should be able to grasp the complex business domain fast and be agile in supporting the Product releases
• Experience using at least one defect management tool – JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc.
• Software lifecycle management skills: understand the application development tasks and plan testing

Designation: Associate - QA

Office Location: Goregaon Mumbai

Position description: 2+ years of hands on experience in testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To work closely with software developers and product planners to understand more about what the product is for, its key features and the intended audience
• Required to carry out a mix of key functional and non-functional tests such as Sanity, Regression, Load, Security and Deployment
• Required to plan test cases in consultation with the stake holders
• Required to document all bugs and findings of these tests and ensuring they are addressed

Required Skills:

Mandatory: Passionate about sports, Problem solving, Team player, Target & Result oriented.

Functional: Manual Functional Testing of Web and Mobile Applications, Writing Test Cases, Regression Testing, Data Verification, GIT & JIRA, Basic Automation Testing,
Testing feeds - Understanding of JSON and XML structures, Testing tools like Postman, Swagger & Charles Proxy, Browser Development Tools,GIT & JIRA.

Job Responsibities:

Junior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer role and responsibility includes:

• Understanding the product requirement.
• Develop use cases and test cases
• Execute functional and regression testing (It also includes uncovering the bugs early in the product life cycle by doing manual and automated tests to ensure product quality)
• You are responsible for conducting various levels of testing before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective.
• You will also review software requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
