Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1 to 3 years of experience in black box and white box testing to join our quality assurance team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through comprehensive testing and meticulous reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both black box and white box testing.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes.
• Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on system requirements and design.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test data, test results, and test reports.
• Assist in the preparation of user manuals and training materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing, with expertise in both black box and white box testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency in creating detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of programming languages and scripting.

What are we looking for?

• Is an experienced(4+) Quality Assurance Tester
• Has worked on healthcare domain, specifically EHR
• Is well-versed with manual testing
• Is familiar with Agile frameworks and knows what regression testing is
• Is great at communication both written and oral
• Experience and exposure to automation testing would be a plus.
• Must have used JIRA/GitLab etc.. for bug management

We are looking for someone who can set up our test infrastructure and work on increasing test coverage for our android & web applications to meet the growing needs. Responsibilities

• You will help the team in building a reliable, high-quality manual platform from scratch and test the all of Truemeds’ products for quality & stability
• You will help the team to set up test environments for manual activities.
• You will be responsible for using the latest technologies to design and maintain manual testing for existing and new products
• Manage efficiently a team of QA Engineers
• Coach and grow our manual QA team members through mentorship, and participate in the hiring strategy and process
• You will be responsible for reliability for major products/releases and ensure all the product gets QA sign-off before release
• Check/review test cases, test plans, and test strategy and consolidate and share test results with various stakeholders.
• Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through efficient test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
• You will have to estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities and Work closely on the deadlines of the project
• Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing.
• You will be a technology champion/mentor, and work with others to effectively use new technology to build effective testing campaigns

Requirements

• 8+ years of software testing experience, 2+ years of management or mentoring experience
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in performance testing and load testing
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience performing cross-browser testing using any automation testing framework
• Experience in manual testing of Mobile Native applications.
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
• Experience managing a team of QA Engineers
• Good understanding of eCommerce Domain
• Solid understanding of SQL and API testing experience doing data quality testing with large data sets
• Excellent communication as well as documentation skills

Work Location 

• WeWork Chromium, Powai, Mumbai 

What you need to have: 

• 2+ yrs experience with manual testing on mobile (automation testing is an advantage) 
• Manual testing experience in testing for Android & iOS is MUST
• JIRA or other bug tracking tool experience 
• The QA Analyst will be expected to complete manual testing on both iOS and Android devices, be able to enter findings into Jira, and follow up on defects discovered
• PRD Reviews, Test Case coverage and Execution, able to handle End to End Application testing and release process.
• API testing experience and Basic SQL knowledge
• ADB commands, Android Studio, Xcode, Understanding Logs, SDK’s.
• Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is maintained.                                                                                                                Good To Have Skills :
