Review Criteria:
Mandatory:
- Strong UAT / Functional Test Lead Profiles
- Must have minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3 years of recent UAT experience, primarily in manual testing for large enterprise or government project
- Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects in a UAT lead or ownership role
- Must have 3+ years of team handling experience, leading 7–8 QA/UAT members, including task assignment, review, mentoring, and delivery ownership
- Must have complete ownership of UAT activities, including UAT planning, execution, acceptance sign-off, defect management, retesting, and regression cycles.
- Must have strong hands-on manual testing experience, with the ability to create test scenarios and test cases from BRDs, user stories, functional documents, and Figma/UI screens.

- Must have BE/BTech/MTech/MBA (BSc/BCA alone is not acceptable; with Bsc/BCA candidates must have a relevant postgraduate degree MCA/MTech)

- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent is preferred
Ideal Candidate:
- 8 + years’ experience in UAT, with at least 2 National-level e-Governance solutions / Enterprise platforms / Marketplace projects.
- Proficiency in test planning, execution oversight, acceptance criteria definition, defect triage, regression cycle management.
- Proficient in understanding business requirements by going through BRDs, User Stories, Figma screens to define test scenarios and test cases.
- Ability to analyze high level and low-level design documents, API specifications to identify the business logic developed and create test cases to test the APIs.
- Hands-on experience of defining high quality test scenarios, test cases with ability to review and guide the test team members in doing the same.
- Education/Certifications: B.E./ B.Tech. / MTech/ MCA/ MS (Computer Science/IT)/ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent required.

Key Responsibilities
🔍 Quality Assurance & Testing
- Perform functional and exploratory testing across the Master-O platform
- Identify, log, track, and validate bugs with expected behavior
- Test gamification flows such as quizzes, leaderboards, rewards, challenges, and progress tracking
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and edge cases
- Ensure UAT releases meet quality benchmarks before production deployment
- Validate fixes and ensure no regressions post-release
💬 Customer Support (Freshchat)
- Handle Freshchat queries from end users during US business hours
- Troubleshoot platform issues, clarify product behavior, and escalate bugs when required
- Maintain high SLA adherence for response and resolution times
- Act as the bridge between users and the product team by sharing recurring issues and insights
- Document FAQs, common issues, and resolutions to improve support efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 months–2 years of full-time experience in QA/testing roles
- Experience testing B2B SaaS platforms (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with testing gamified products, learning platforms, or interactive applications
- Experience using bug tracking tools (Jira or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong user-first mindset
- Clear written communication skills (especially while logging bugs and handling chat support)
- Comfortable working US shift timings in a remote setup

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications across various functionalities.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using MSTest framework.
- Identify and report bugs and defects through a bug tracking system.
- Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential defects early in the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

As a software tester, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. You'll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. Your role is integral to the creation of software systems and technical products. You'll need to be familiar, or become familiar with, programming and using coding languages.
