Required Skills: Cloud & Infrastructure Operations, Kubernetes & Container Orchestration, Monitoring, Reliability & Observability, Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible etc., Strong problem-solving skills with scripting (Python/Go/Shell)

Criteria:

1.   Candidate must be from a product-based or scalable app-based start-ups company with experience handling large-scale production traffic.

2.   Minimum 6 yrs of experience working as a DevOps/Infrastructure Consultant

3.   Candidate must have 2 years of experience as an lead (handling team of 3 to 4 members at least)

4.   Own end-to-end infrastructure right from non-prod to prod environment including self-managed

5.   Candidate must have Self experience in database migration from scratch 

6.   Must have a firm hold on the container orchestration tool Kubernetes

7.   Should have expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef / Puppet

8.   Understanding programming languages like GO/Python, and Java

9.   Working on databases like Mongo/Redis/Cassandra/Elasticsearch/Kafka.

10.   Working experience on Cloud platform -AWS

11. Candidate should have Minimum 1.5 years stability per organization, and a clear reason for relocation.

Job Responsibilities:

● Own end-to-end infrastructure right from non-prod to prod environment including self-managed DBs

● Codify our infrastructure

● Do what it takes to keep the uptime above 99.99%

● Understand the bigger picture and sail through the ambiguities

● Scale technology considering cost and observability and manage end-to-end processes

● Understand DevOps philosophy and evangelize the principles across the organization

● Strong communication and collaboration skills to break down the silos

Job Requirements:

● B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering degree/experience

● Minimum 6 yrs of experience working as a DevOps/Infrastructure Consultant

● Must have a firm hold on the container orchestration tool Kubernetes

● Must have expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef / Puppet

● Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to write scripts using any scripting language

• Senior Engineer with a strong background and experience in cloud related technologies and architectures. Can design target cloud architectures to transform existing architectures together with the in-house team. Can actively hands-on configure and build cloud architectures and guide others.

• Key Knowledge

• 3-5+ years of experience in AWS/GCP or Azure technologies
• Is likely certified on one or more of the major cloud platforms
• Strong experience from hands-on work with technologies such as Terraform, K8S, Docker and orchestration of containers.
• Ability to guide and lead internal agile teams on cloud technology
• Background from the financial services industry or similar critical operational experience

Skill Requirements:

1. Managing GitHub (example: - creating branches for test, QA, development and production, creating Release tags, resolve merge conflict)
2. Setting up of the servers based on the projects in either AWS or Azure (test, development, QA, staging and production)
3. AWS S3 configuring and s3 web hosting, Archiving data from s3 to s3-glacier
4. Deploying the build(application) to the servers using AWS CI/CD and Jenkins (Automated and manual)
5. AWS Networking and Content delivery (VPC, Route 53 and CloudFront)
6. Managing databases like RDS, Snowflake, Athena, Redis and Elasticsearch
7. Managing IAM roles and policies for the functions like Lambda, SNS, aws cognito, secret manager, certificate manager, Guard Duty, Inspector EC2 and S3.
8. AWS Analytics (Elasticsearch, Athena, Glue and kinesis).
9. AWS containers (elastic container registry, elastic container service, elastic Kubernetes service, Docker Hub and Docker compose
10. AWS Auto scaling group (launch configuration, launch template) and load balancer
11. EBS (snapshots, volumes and AMI.)
12. AWS CI/CD build spec scripting, Jenkins groovy scripting, shell scripting and python scripting.
