Responsibilities:

1. Write blog posts, articles, tutorials, product descriptions, and social media captions, related to photography, cameras (especially Canon), lenses, accessories, and related topics.
2. Showcase a deep understanding of Canon cameras, lenses, and related equipment, including their features, functionalities, and use cases.
3. Stay up-to-date with the latest photography trends, techniques, and Canon product releases. Conduct research to ensure accuracy and credibility in your writing.
4. Implement SEO best practices to maximize the visibility of your content in search engine results.
5. Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to develop content strategies and ensure brand consistency.
6. Create content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email, and print materials.
7. Adhere to our brand's style guide and tone of voice in all your writing.
8. Manage your time effectively to deliver high-quality content within agreed-upon timelines.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
2. A deep understanding of photography principles, techniques, and equipment, with a particular focus on Canon products.
3. Experience using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
4. Ability to conduct thorough research and gather information from reliable sources.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
6. A genuine interest in photography and a desire to share your knowledge with others.

Bonus Points:

1. Experience with photography and videography.
2. Portfolio of published photography-related content.

• Developing eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform. Shopify theme development and customization, private apps, Shopify Liquid templating language, Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc.), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery & Rest API's)
• Responsible for the development of the website on Shopify as per the design handed off by the UI Designers. Knowledge of Installing & Customizing the new Shopify theme.
• Deliver optimized, fast loading, and super responsive website. Understand the requirements from briefs, do thorough research, and based on previous experiences -propose the most suitable solution platform with an ETA.
• Extending Shopify functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
• Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites Creating responsive website designs
• Integrating third-party and platform-supported apps in the sites.
