Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth plant operations. The role requires hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, equipment inspection, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Breakdown Maintenance

Attend machine and equipment breakdowns promptly.

Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.

Minimize downtime by carrying out effective repairs and corrective actions.

Preventive Maintenance

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and utilities.

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed as per maintenance schedules.

Equipment Maintenance

Carry out lubrication, alignment, and servicing of machines and equipment.

Maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial machinery.

Inspect and maintain electrical panels, wiring, switches, and control systems.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Update maintenance logbooks and equipment history sheets.

Report recurring issues and suggest improvement measures.

Safety & Compliance

Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Ensure proper use of tools, PPE, and maintenance equipment.

Support workplace housekeeping and 5S initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

ITI (Fitter/Electrician) or equivalent technical qualification.

2–3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Education : B.Tech / M.Tech only

MANDATORY CRITERIA:

• It's a Contractual role for a particular project ongoing in the company, duration will be 1 year or may exceed as per the project requirement, After that the candidate will be kept on permanent role.

• Familiarity with RTOS linux kernel internals and hardware protocols (They mainly use AXI protocol, i2c, spi).
• Strong knowledge of PCIe and DMA drivers
• Proficiency in C / C++ programming languages
• Experience working with hardware interfaces/protocols (AXI, I2C, SPI)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proven experience in developing Linux Device Drivers.
• Preferred experience in Zephyr (need to port bare metal drivers to zephyr OS/device driver model).
• Strong knowledge of PCIe and DMA drivers (Good to know Xilinx's IPs like AXI-DMA, XDMA etc).
• Expertise in Linux Memory Management.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Preferred familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), linux kernel internals and hardware protocols (They mainly use AXI protocol, i2c, spi).
